Imperial boxes have to be crafted in the town where you sell it. If you craft in arehaza and sell in heidel, it won't work.
Same box, same place, 1825 mastery, 130.9% profit bonus, not sure exactly where the result comes from but definitely not bugged like you describe it.
I believe it's [503.125 x ( 130.9 from mastery + 20 from premium + 1 from family fame bonus)]/100 = 764.246 (more or less 766.508 depending how the game rounds numbers).
It's not exactly how it works on retail (but my math could be wrong), but well , anyway I suggest you to wait for the new imperial boxes which are more profitable.

 

Thanks so much for clearing this up for me...Had no idea that we HAD to sell the Cooking Boxes where we made them. Also it should really say so in the Trade window then...instead of misleading us the way it is doing now
