I am having serious issues installing Aion. Issues that have me completely stuck that is. I got the NCsoft Launcher but, nothing is working with it. I tried re-installing and everything but, it just won't do anything. Basically, what it does whether I try to use file repair or update Aion, is:

First the download will start just fine. It will run at my internet's usual speed of about 200 Kb/s or so (Yeah, my internet sucks but I have never had problems installing games before.)

Then, from there it will start to drop. For example. Let's say it starts with a 200 Kb/s. The download speed will drop by 1Kb/s every quarter of a second or so. The speed just drops at a very steady pace, never dropping at a slower or faster rate.

The download speed drops down until the speed counter disappears. At this point, everything stops. It's not downloading the update, it's not giving me a speed or estimated time change. It just sits there, doing nothing.

If I cancel the download and restart it, it just repeats itself. Here's the weird thing though. Even after the download speed disappears, my internet is still COMPLETELY DRAINED. I mean to the point where I went to play World of Warcraft while the launcher did its thing, and not long into playing everything completely lagged out. Everybody was running in place, my latency counter said I was up to 4k ms and it wouldn't change, I couldn't load any webpages, my mother was even in the other room watching Netflix and that suddenly completely stopped.

Not only does the downloader stop working, but it completely drains the internet, not allowing it to be used by anything else, even after it has shown itself to have stopped the download.

    Anyone help please?

I am sorry for the late reply.

This has something to do with your direct connection between the Download server and your ISP.

I would try getting a VPN and try downloading with a VPN. Also, disable your antivirus and firewall.
