    Simple question:
Does you guy encounter unbalance average ping while you were playing gamez aion? within few minute or second interval.

I am using battleping & leatrix. - if i didnt use BP, more higher ping.
No background application, downloads, no malware - I know this more than you do.
And now it is higher than ping that I had normally.

I ask this just to confirm whether it is server problem or the ISP, modem/line.

well i think mostly is server problem.
I open the 'Resource Monitor' for window7, and notice that aion.bin have latency of 300ms average - which is fine for me - due to my location. But in game ping will be 500~1000ms - unbalance. This already happen for few days now, so wtf is happening inside the server?

you did notice we're on the other side of the globe right >_> . not any where near US or where its hosted

When i first came to this server its 400+ (without Leatrix or anything)

after a few weeks the ping shot up pretty much, Then this leatrix thing is introduced to all of us.

after a month , its battleping + leatrix and we get over 700-1000 ms.

SOMETHING is really wrong-_- , considering the host change and stuff, everything has been unstable, daily crashes and stuff :/

Well he didn't switch hosts for the game server in the last couple days. He just changed it like a month ago. (Host change isn't causing crashes, the code is and the crashes existed before the move.)

I personally never see higher ping than 350 and can see around 50 ms often. Not entirely sure why others have more than 500 other than blaming it on the sheer distance between yourself and the server.

so you can ask carl or somebody to give a proper investigation on what is going on?

    From 300ms average ping. (Balance)
    To 500~1000ms (unbalance) -facepalm-

Yes, i am at Southeast Asia anyway.

Look. If there are a lot of people experiencing it, wouldn't there be at least some chance that it has something to do with the server already?

I know you get 50ms often, considering where your location is, and yes, we DO blame it on the sheer distance (that's why you get 100 ping below for servers in the same country as you are, and 200 above for servers outside of your country). And what's more is that this lag thing happened to all of us after some crashes 3 days ago. Isn't that weird? What, all of us having different providers suddenly had problems? O.O or maybe, the server had a problem?

Yeah the distance would be the one to blame and also the oceanic location where I lived in. I could live to this, but I usually use battleping or gamepath to lower the ping caused by the distance and usually have a 280-330ms with those proxys but in the last 2 days it seems battleping and gamepath cant connect thru the host because gamez have changed its port number from 7777 to 7779? Im not sure of it why tho. Ive tried to connect into the server using the proxys and to test that ive really connected to the server thru the proxys, I closed down the putty (closing down the putty while in game will disconnect you from the game) but nothing happen, so I guess I wasnt connected thru the proxys. Ive tried to connect to port 7779 but it wont allow me, I always got dc on server selection.

What I hope for is, let the proxy servers like battleping and gamepath connect to the server so we have a chance to have our ping lowered thru those two and to taste a better pvp.
