Updates

hello i want to ask how often we get some update with fixes? like i see BUG report section is full of bugs but i dont see any interesting from Dev side so, can i w8 in very very soon time some godd update? or i can forget on it. thx for answers .

 

We get updates eventually, and sometimes they're great updates, sometimes they just bring more bugs. You just have to be patient, and hope for the best pretty much~

 

You can view the latest significant updates in this section although the time between updates recently is largely to do with the fact that our server core has gotten a lot more stable.

We're seeing server uptimes of about 6-8 days+ now which is nice.

Usually we wait until the server is nearing the point of requiring a restart before applying any fixes. Unless they're urgent of course.

 

I'm fairly sure there is still some bugs with skills cause that aren't fixed like with the sorc skill that can see through basic stealth it can see through advanced as well cause I've been on my sin and sorcs have come out of no where and killed me. So some bugs like that are super annoying.

 

i know that i cant expect updates every day but i dont see any post from dev or carl about some future fixes or something. It look like no1 interesting about it. Its look like every1 is satisfied with bugs. Nvm thx for your answers.

 

We don't post about upcoming fixes since then if circumstances change and we need to adjust our developer's attention we're left with a crowd of entitled users demanding the fix we promised earlier.

Our development cycle often changes between bug fixes, features, version compatibility and mechanic adjustments. Attempting to predict exactly where we need our developers to focus and how long everything is going to take is difficult, doing so while under the scrutiny of a user horde is moreso.

No one is "satisfied" with bugs, we're simply realistic in approaching them and the resources they require to be resolved.

 

When a lot of time passed before an update - it's usually a big one. History showed that it might be amazing and epic in any way, but bring as much bugs as the new features too. Just be patient with fingers crossed.

 

i understand you that its not so easy fix all bugs. But i also see that you are trying keep up with NCsoft updates. But I think better to have oldes version of aion who work good like latest version with lot of bugs.
