You have to go into setup and make sure you have "Use Push to Talk Hotkey" checked and "Enable outgoing voice communcations", "Use Direct Inpurt to detect Hotkey" have "Play Key Clicks" unchecked if you don't want to annoy people whenever you press to talk. Then in the Hotkey box, click in it and set whatever key you want to use to talk. On the right side you set your outbound and inbound ( i don't really mess with that). Also make sure you have User Direct Sound checked, then you can individually turn people up and down if they are too loud. Like make sure "Use DirectSound" is checked under the Speech tab. To individually turn someone down, right click their name in vent and go to miscellaneous and the special effects. Then click volume on the available list and press add, then you double click volume on the left side where it says current and then you can adjust the volume of them and press ok.

I hope all of this information helps, good luck <3

If you are still confused, you are welcome to get in Gamez Ventrilo and I will be more than happy to walk you through step by step.
