Veteran rewards

Good evening i am an old player and still keep playing until now that means 6 years of my life is the only game i enjoying and playing my free time... i have good memories through those 6 years in gamezaion aion. Today i was wondering if we could get any reward being in a game for 6 years... not only for me but and other old players. 6 years supporting the server by donates, activity, calling friends to join the server and etc... I know there are some forum events but i am always ignore them cause i don't have nervs to spend so much time. What u guys thing? Should veteran players worth something?

 

this will be awesome, since i'm a legit player for 4 years.

Well, I'm around here for a quite long time also, correct me if I'm wrong but, if you had donated to this server, the reward for it is the items you bought don't you think?
And also, everyday, in-game and forums we have very active Staff Members online ready to help, hosting events, bringing new things to the server...
I believe this is a way to thank the active and old players for being here...

If you are someone who have been here for that long and is actually as active as you say you are then you should have everything you need to play the game at this point. I don't see why give players who have more than enough stuff to play the game more stuff just because they joined earlier than the others.

Besides, how are you actually going to find out that someone has been an active member of the community the entire time like they claim to be and not just coming back and forth? You can't.

Look at you and the other 2 users who posted after you. You guys are claiming you've been here for 6, 4 and 5 years respectively but your join dates says 2014, 2013 and 2015. If you have been truly supporting the server for as long as you people claim to be then you have to be an active member both in-game and in forums the entire time.

There are a lot of people in this community who have been here for a very long time and have contributed nothing, if not, even created problems for the community. You're telling me these people deserves a reward too for being "Veteran"?

But think about those who cannot spend too much time in joining event since it only has maximum players that can join? hmp just sayin..

You don't have to worry. I been here on earth for 28 years. As a veteran, accessing the game freely is already a reward to me. Same as having my life (our lives) as a gift.

i've been playing Aion for quite a while time in this and other servers and the comon thing everywhere in every game and every server is the time when you get bored just by entering the game. So little more distraction or things to do will be well met

heh, i never had a lot of money to buy any best item from webshop..but i start played this awesome game and server LUMIEL since 2012, maybe early
so, in my opinion, best reward will be solved webshop and many others bug....why? couse it making some problems here with other players,but i m OK
i just wanted to inform about my opinion...

 

I will ignore the "veteran rewards" suggestion and address something that I saw.

Your ignorance is off the roof. You just said you "don't have the nerve to spend so much time" joining an event and spending 15 minutes on a photoshop entry (or 10 seconds on rng based forum events like my raffle) in exchange for chances to win lovely rewards and ignore the fact that someone actually sat down, came up with and wrote these events in exchange for nothing, just so you guys could have some fun and win rewards. The staff team does not expect you to bow to them and call them master but when you complain about "not having the nerve to join" and win the rewards you complain about not having when someone sat down and made them FOR the players, it shows your ignorance.

Why do you think raffle is my longest event with over 100 rounds? Because I want to give everyone a chance to win based on pure luck instead of having the same people win over and over because the people who win over and over actually put effort into coming up with good poems, learning photoshop themselves, taking pretty screenshots that do NOT have to do with their graphics, and others do not bother taking even 5 minutes to make their entries more good looking, creative or overall impressive and therefore stand no chance against them. You heard me, it is because of people like you that I actually had to sit down and think of an event that requires no effort so that players don't complain that "this member always wins, do something". I have a love-hate relationship with Raffle because on one hand I can see new players being rewarded with things they could trade to get PvP items or use because they don't have any similar ones and would normally not win on other events, but on the other hand I see the ignorance of people who this event was made for (the ones that couldn't even bother properly resizing a screenshot in a photoshop based event) that even now, copy paste other users' answers just to save the 5 seconds they would spend by coming up with their own. Atreian Raffle is the result of many spoiled players, and your comment above is proof of you being one of them.


You complain about not receiving "veteran rewards" when there are events that could win you any mount, any pet, any title and other ridiculous rewards just by entering your name, server and an answer to a question. We have given so many rewards that whenever we do events we have a hard time finding prizes because there is literally nothing completely new that we can give. The time you spend ingame bashing everyone, staff or normal players, you could spend it browsing the forums, putting some effort in forum events and winning everything you're complaining about not having.

I personally think that people should start appreciate forum/in-game events more.
Never before have been more events hosted in this past few months than now, I can surely say that, at least in regard of forums, and some of these events require you to make literally zero effort in order to win wonderful prizes. For what? For basically nothing. My experience is that as a consequence, people are becoming more and more lazier to even consider joining other than the usual 'post-and-pray-for-your-luck' types of events.
It's a bit saddening to see how some of us work long hours or even weeks just to come up with something new, and provide forumers with various types of events where they don't always have to rely on their photoshopping skills (because that's usually a big excuse in many cases), but instead of making a small (again, small) effort from their part, they rather expect to be rewarded for hilarious reasons.
So instead of waiting for free stuff falling on your lap just because you have been here for long enough, why don't you consider aiming to become an active member of the community whose one and only reason in mind to be rewarded for is not the period of time he has spent here passively.

 

Just to add up to what @Kessie said. These events that are provided to the players takes real time and effort to think about, draft, create and to imply. Plus, be reminded that your AMs and Mods have other things to do too than just gaming, such as study, work or even take care of their family. So, no freebies for you old-timers.
