    Hi,

some people don't know how to resize a GIF to fit it to their signatures correctly.

If you need help, just PM me or post under here and Ill help :)

How I do it, (there may be an easier way though)

I record the Gif or Video and then place it in Photoshop and edit each frame of the video/gif then resave it when done.

    For example:

Someone gave me this to resize and crop to fit as avatar:

I record it using Bandicam then I import it to Photoshop as frames.

    Screenshot_74.png

I edit here using Crop and Canvas/image resize.

Then save for web as GIF. Some GIFs are too big so you will have to upload to Deviantart.net.

    Resulting in this:

Takes an average of 5 - 15 minutes. Depending on how big the file is.

If you want me to do it for you, just let me know. Or else take the knowledge and good luck :)

Why record it when you can just open gifs with photoshop?

With GIMP you can also just open the .gif, crop/resize the image, and save as a .gif (as I did with my avatar, full image)

Well that's why it takes you 5-15 mins to resize a gif.

lol well you learn something new everyday I guess :)
Only reason why it takes 5 - 15 minutes because sometimes the import adds extra frames to the media making it look choppy so you have to delete duplicate frames.

Well yeah cuz you record it with ~30 frames per second (depends on your software settings but I guess you're using something like fraps so it's most likely 30 fps) while this gif has only 16 frames and it's like what ~2 seconds long? So you're just making yourself do a lot of useless work.

Yea I use Bandi and Idk. I'm retarded like that :p I just taught myself how to do it without google or any one to tell me so I just did what worked and sometimes the harder results end up happening.

Or you can just use any GIF editors which would take less than 10 simple seconds. c:
