Weird reoccurring item.pak problem

ok ive been having the weirdest problem with the item.pak for the past 6 months... first off my OS is windows 7 and compressed version has never worked so i have to use the loose files. now the problem is the loose files item.pak only works the first time i start my client. if i close my client and reopen it the item.pak will no longer work properly and i cant just delete and re extract it to the folder. instead i have to completely redownload it from scratch again for it to work. and yes im putting it in the right folder data/usa/item and i have completely deleted the game and redownloaded it twice to see if anything changed but no go and ive done repairs countless times. does anyone know anything about this problem and can possibly point me in a direction? any help is much appreciated

 

try to set your items.pak as read-only (right click->properties->read only) and lauch the game a few times.

 

its already read only

 

Is anything blocking Aion in any way? E.g Firewall or Antivirus

 

Or try if your game is running on other os compatibility mode such win xp sp2.. Right click>Compatibility>Check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"

 

it is running on win xp sp2 how do i change that?

 

Click the downside arrow and choose windows 7

 

that didnt fix anything =/ and AM theunderdog has been on team view with me most the day and we still couldnt figure out how to fix the problem. the problem is the client stops reading the item.pak and dont know why. even when my item.pak is working i can equip my ddl and move stuff in account wh but i cant see any teleport crystals in danaria or obelisks in the field. so even when its working its not working all the way =/
