What happened to this server?

It's rated #1 on most sites, is that because of the votes people spam for credits? I'm not trying to discriminate this server, but I only started playing not too long ago and I've noticed LOADS of drama. Mind you, I left another game that had SO drama in it to the point of it being unenjoyable. I want to leave that game behind me and play a new fresh server (want it to be this server.) But hearing that AM's and GM's resigning and being thrown away to the curb like they didn't do any hardwork for years bothers me. Some of them were probably the best GM's to have. This server has loads of bugs in it, lots of fighting/name calling and (no offense to Carl) but I've been hearing all he cares about is money? I feel like there's no support on staff, Ari did so much but now he's gone and so are many others. I'm kinda new to this server but after seeing/hearing some disturbing things I'd like to try to make this server better. I just don't get why there's so much drama in the staff team if they're suppose to be working together to keep this server running. Especially the older ones who should know how to act and not let middle school like drama affect this server.

I just want to not have several things in this server not remind me of the things I've been through in my previous game(s) I've played. Can the staff just get along? Can it not only be about money? Why does it have to be about ass kissing? Respect is one thing and that is earned, but ass kissing just is being a follower. I respect Deathangel for making some sacrifices for this server. I hope you're reading this, and I honestly don't even know you but I saw your thread and you seemed amazing as a GM position. Why are players always fighting/insulting? I know it's pvp and it's competitive but let's face it, this server may not be up for long after what I've been hearing.

All I'm saying is if it's rated #1 on most sites, then act like it's the best server ever.

The staff doesn't care about money flowing on this server. What happened was staff and other members of this community stood together against power abusing and administration errors which was ignored even when reported. The staff fought against what we swore to uphold, hence the demotion of the person who was saving this server for 3 years and the resignation of almost all staff members.

 

Oh, I was trying to get a clear insight lol tyvm for that . Yes I heard about power abusing/cheating I just don't get why all of that happened when it could take like a few minutes to fix errors even when reported? Could of all been easily prevented

 

Forgetting the Drama and the people that helped this server for years is not as easy as you think
Kretia the one that didnt gave up on helping Lumiel from dying got banned

 

True that it could have been resolved in a more peaceful manner but then there is what we call "Ego". So yeah, this happened.
In addition, the staff wouldn't have gone so extreme as to resign all at once if this has not been on-going for quite a long time. People make mistakes and deserves to be given a chance but this problem has been addressed a couple of times which was ignored again and again.

I Agree!!! But we cant help it, Staff resigning and being thrown nothing new about it... They always do that.. Beside all that matters here is what the server gain.. Most of the staff are nice people but at the end they cant do anything if the almighty cast his Judgment Bolt. Anyway stop think about the negative things here in gamez.... There are a lot of positive thing to do here.

There's drama everywhere. It's all up to us to decide for ourselves if we want to entertain it or not. Otherwise you can always ignore it and have lots of fun with a lot of drama free people that are still running around the game.

So did you also kiss their asses before, that lead to your promotion as an AM? Or how does that work? I'm curious. Because, I know a lot of people who are applying for AM positions who applied for the reason that they just wanted to help the server without having to kiss anyone's ass. Were you basing it off personal experience?
