What is better for Gladiator Spear Or Greatsword?

Hey guys so i wonder what to get when i'll have 2k credits the ABG Spear or the ABG Greatsword? what do you think?

Spear ^^ ,

Spear = Unstable damage, High attack
Greatsword = Stable damage, Less attack than spear

 

Buy both !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Greatsword = Low ping users, good damage with high attack speed
Spear = Any ping users, amazing damage with less attack speed

I'd go for Greatsword cause it looks cooler and hits fast.

 

i have 500~600 ms :S

 

dude... spear crit +17 + accuracy = boom critical
greatsword full atk +5 = die fast

No doubt Spear is really better. Why?

Gladiators need not much attack speed. Attack speed scrolls and casting speed scrolls is enough to enhance your attack speed
When using spear you can have the maximum damage a gladiator can have and Glads kill in massive pvp when using your AOE's
i got a Gladiator with full attack+5 manastone EGT set and Masta-ABG spear, GT accessories and still can have 543 Crit with the use of
Major Crit Strike Scroll (+120 crit) and Innesi Aether Bulgogi (+60 crit) . The damage will be better than using crit manastones and attack Food

 

Depend on your play style... no fixed formula.

Spear = unstable dmg (higher average dmg) - higher crit - slower AS - lower accuracy - lower parry
GreatSword = stabale dmg (lower average dmg) - lower crit - faster AS - higher accuracy - higher parry
depend on ur play style so u can choose the rite weapon that u need.
i myself use Greatsword,i have 700 atk, 550 crit, but still can take down my foe easily.

 

Nothing is better for a gladiator than good bow so he can cast his magic spells.

I use both. and switch in pvp.

for 1vs1 = Greatsword, specially versus another glad, i always cast faster my lockdown and combos, just take the iniciative.
for mass pvp and AOE = Spear.

i also have diferent godstones socketed, silence on gs for mage classes and paralyze or blind on spear.

 

Spear all the way specially when u have use attack and crit build. I use GS for fighting with style^^
