    Anybody know these games?
Want to buy them but I'm not sure whether the games are good...only found test report but the opinion from the tester were different. I watch some videos and it looks very well.
Someone know these games or maybe someone has it/already plays it? :)

It was fun to play its just its one of those game you'd prefer to go to gamestop and buy a used copy cause it doesn't seem to live up to full price o.o''

If a bomb gets thrown at you, your character goes flying backwards xD

White Knight Chronicles isn't a bad game. It's more fun if you play the online component, but for the most part it's just like most other rpg's. It can be a fun game, but I only played it for a little while so I really don't know about later content. Most reviews for it were mediocre, but I would rely more on personal opinion then a review site really so it's up to you.

I can't comment on Folklore as I never played it.

Valkyria Chronicles is, in my opinion, the better of the three. It really went under a lot of people's radar, but was quite a good game. It recieved a majority of good reviews. It is definitely more of a strategy RPG then your normal turn-based or even active time based. I think, though, that you may like this one the most because I was introduced to this game through a podcast I watched and absolutely loved it.

Really you just have to pick and choose for the most part.

haha :D I play the demo of valkyria. the character looks very awesome. But the gameplay was boring but I think when I have the full version I have more cool skills etc or?
And is the story good? :)

I enjoyed the female storyline over the weird guy..
I also think the girl got ebtter transformations xD
Where and what you can turn into determines who you choose to play as in the beginning as well =o

Yeah I heard of the good online modus from white knight.
But like every rpg game I'm more interested in the Story :)
And I think Valkyria is a little bit like Final Fantasy Tactics Advance isn't it?

    Loved the gameboy versionXD
It is a lot like it!
You control each person one by one and they can only move a certain amount before they run out of stanima..so yeah the battle system is exactly like final fantasy tactics except prettier o.o

The story is definitely slow moving at first like many RPG's, but it really picks up as time goes on.

The combat is more strategy RPG like stated before. It is definitely a far cry from your standard Final Fantasy that is for sure. Really you just have to get used to it.

Yeah you do gain more skills. It is definitely like an RPG in that aspect.

It is very similar to FF Tactics in its methods of combat.

It is definitely an experience, but don't go into it hoping for a Final Fantasy-esque experience or you may be disappointed.

Yep! I have the game now. It almost flew under my radar sadly, but I got lucky that I found a trailer for it. It is such an awesome game with a unique combat system and so far a pretty good story.

yeah the trailer is rly amazing but when I saw the gameplay I dont want to buy it :/
It looks so boring. When I watch Gameone when they test RoF they said first its boring and when you play a while then it's better... :)

Like most RPG's the storyline is definitely slow to start. Same with combat. You just have to get used to it. I've played it here and there when I get the chance, but I certaintly like it. Definitely a change of pace from the normal RPG's I play.

Definitely. I kept failing one tutorial over and over because I couldn't understand what I was supposed to be doing. I think it was the one about the special tri attack that you can do after a certain amount of time. I could never seem to get it to work at first and the tutorial was extremely vague about it.
