Who has that much money?

Wow, I understand taking Donations for items to help keep the server running, but those prices are insane lol.

Who's paying $20 for 1 piece of armor for a game they could play for free? (Obviously some people are, but really?) Where do you people get this money that you can throw it away so freely. I am 24 and have a decent job so I know how hard it is to make a living.

In no way is this a flame or insult to the donation system. I am just thinking, what if the person running the server gets bored or busy in Real Life and decided to shut it all down. Thousands of Dollars wasted? I've seen it happen in many other Private Servers (even spoke with a player who spend $1500 in a Lineage 2 Private server and it shut down 4 months after lol).

I may end up donating because I do like this server, I just hope it stays around long enough for me to use the Items I donate for =P

 

thats a risk YOU take with all the private servers around.

 

lol you'd be suprised, I know atleast two or three people who've donated over a thousand dollars. To gear one character in full abg+accs is $300 through donations.

 

example me, and my friend did for full gear abg+ all the shits. also he still got 8k credits.

Donating 20$ each month was what I did and I've got my full set now (kay I still need one ring).
Pretty stupid since it's a private server and it could be wiped anytime, but I did anyway.

 

Lol I just don't get it =P. I could build a super computer for $1000+ or Buy a new 50" Flat Screen TV. My roommates bought a car for $1600 that is in great quality. What do you people do for a living? =P

 

I have full EAT armor and an ABG spear, and a lot of credits just from voting and making smart trades and getting lucky.

 

My in game friends geared me lol

 

Lucky i have nice work, well payed... so at end of the month i always separate money for fun and money for savings and fix cost.... and i spent some of the fun money here.... Its a risk?? yes it is... but i am havin fun so i guess is worth right now.

 

get an awesome job that pays good for ur bills + leave u extra change for w/e shit u want XD. :O my BG from Playskool says i work with the yakuzas cuz i waste too much money on aion.

 

The purpose of donation is not to get good gear. If that were the case, this server would be sued by retail.

Let's just say the armor is just a Privilege to you, not a right.

 

Well Im running around with full ABG and well I havent donated a pound here <lol>
it depends if ur creative and can make something with nothing in your hands xD

 

so true about that :3 i seen people sell craft items for credits :3 and they full abg also people that sell scrolls. You can be full abg equip just by investing a little time crafting or making things that people want.

 

hehe, I am one of those. Iv spent like $500 or so on 2 characters with Full ABG+Abg accessories and Mast+Abg weapons. hehe

well it is for enjoyment.

Get a good job ^^, earn lots of $$, buy a car, buy a house, make a family, enjoy the rest of your life gaming, relaxing and etc. ^^

 

donations help make this server alive.. having items are just a plus for having to donate to the server.. its not actually the items that really matter, its helping out the server and the less fortunate ones that can't donate and doesnt have the privilege to play on retail due to lack of budget.

bdw, i'm not a donator, but i do vote my ass off to make this server #1 on the listings, and to encourage other players to play on this server..

but most of my toons are fully geared w/ ABG as well.. as a matter of fact i'm on my way to my third set of ABG, so even if your not a donator as long as you care for the server you would definitely get what you want, you just need to work your way to get it..

 

to trade itens is one of the funniest things to do on gamez.
im Full abg (with AT accs), and i never donated.

 

It's gay to donate when it's buggy. and i never will donate. either i borrow/get gifted/or vote for point and get it myself.

what am sure of its batter than gambling a_a spending money here is good thing to do to this community and it feels right coz some ppl cant so the ppl spending thy step in there place and pay for them .

its like today i cant pay for food but my friend do
