    Cast speed gloves were put in 2.0. All gloves before that were attack speed only.

    hahaha......if you will not ask the problem,that problem will not be solve earlier...

    In to topic:coz my friend confused,too...his dueling someone and he noticed(in-game) that the gloves(EAT-cloth) has attack speed not casting speed so he's casting speed is not lower than 0.6....

    Attak speed is better than casting speed for sorcs in gloves and in orb/tome ( attak speed fuse casting speed)
    Why? Because attak speed = faster animation when you using curse of roots,sleep etc

    Also, you get to Cast Speed cap on a sorc pretty easy, so it's good to have attack speed too.

    for 2 reasons:

    1). To build a MB/Macc assassin
    2). High level sorcerers in Retail use a 20% casting speed orb fused with an Attack speed 19% attack speed to reduce Animation therefore the casting becomes a little bit faster.

    Do the math: 20% Casting speed + 9% casting speed scroll = 29% casting speed
    19% attack speed + 8% attack speed from gloves = 27% attack speed
    Which is pretty balanced and your animation is way faster, Something very useful in PvP.

    Atkspeed is useful for Sorcerers. It reduces the skill delay.
