World BOSS KS issue

My friends and i just tried to kill the world boss called Golden Tatar in tiamaranta.

Our party members as stated in the screen shot


1: Me (Cleric) Healing and DPS woc2
2: Gladiator on dagger/sword "Full attack set and crit weapons" woc1
3: Gladiator on dagger/sword "Full attack set and crit weapons" woc1
4: Gladiator on sword/sword "Full attack set and crit weapons" woc2
5: Sorcerer woc1

All 3 gladiators were using berserking every 3 minutes.
I think i dont have to point out that the best dps there is are dual weild gladiators on aion's strength with full attack manastone setup and of course the sorcerers.

And our competition from tonny legion
1: Cleric
2: Chanter
3: Gladiator
4: Gladiator


And we lost the boss loot to them. I tried calculating it with simple math and it was impossible. Only our 3 gladiators should be able to outdps that group of 2 glads 1 cleric and 1 chanter. But yet,5 of us WITH A SORCERER lost the loot to them,not to mention that they started attacking the boss at around 90%. Im certain that the named legion uses illegal methods and thats the reason we lost the boss to them. I dont have any proof besides that screen shot showing that we didnt get the loot. But id like a possible investigation and your opinions about this. Id like to see replies from people who do a lot pve just like us.

My 2 guesses about this.
1: Loot hack,if there is one
2: No animation hack

this report is wierder cause that dude fzzr just took the loot, when he was the only one in the group

theres no way he can ever outdps a full group, its impossible
i rlly hope it can be checked some how

Id also like to point out that our 3 gladiators were only autoattacking the boss and same were doing the 2 gladiators from tonny legion. For those who dont know,autoattack is the best way to give as much dps as possible.

Lacrima was doing around 3k damage per less than 1 second. 1500X Damage on each sword,woc2 user. As an example.

@Suho fzr isnt even banned yet. i saw him selling that tatar loot the other day.

The report Suhosin posted is really weird, I agree. It's just sad that no staffs dared to give their reply on that report. At least if this is something that really happens, a clarification/justification will do. Because I think this kind of things don't really normally happen. But then if I am wrong, then please forgive my lack of knowledge.

 

Why dont you try auto attack on a player and the other player use skills , and see who will out damages who. How the hell auto attack will out damages skills even when pve.

 

Hm you are wrong man,im sorry but you need to test it.

My gladiator can deal 1500-1600 autoattack damage on each hand,thats a 3k autoattack damage in less than 1 second (woc2 user) and when i pop berserking i can do 2k damage per hand. You cannot outdps that kind of damage with skills,first of all skills have cooldowns,and second you ll run out of mana. Its true,for burst short term damage obviously a spear with skills would win. But for long term damage you need dual weilds. I dont know if you have ever played retail but pve gladiators pick the dual weild tree for a reason. You need to do some research about this and come talk to me when you get your facts straight..

 

If you read his post carefully, all the gladiators (even in tonny legion) included in the run were auto-attacking so if your argument is valid then there is no way the gladiators from the other group can out dps theirs.

 

this person has obviously never had a gladiator and if he is one he should reroll =/ dual dps far surpasses skill damage with a 2 handed weapon over time

 

We've actually tested it(a lot of times at that) and dual-wield glad will always out-dps a spear/gs glad in this situation. Unless you have solid proof to prove your case then it's irrelevant at this point. If you want my proof then I can show you in-game.

 

I don't want to sound stupid or anything but if they had a chanter, they could've out DPS'ed you guys.

 

I've seen that legion around and they do smell a bit funky.

Fzzr is still around, he was following me and Lumi @ 4 am in shadow walk posting our location in LFG and spamming hackers in shout.

 

Both group got Cleric and 2 Gladiators so..

Gladiator + Sorcerer > Chanter. If it's the buffs and mantras, I still don't see how can a Chanter make so much difference.

 

Usually when people post something,they also give a valid proof/reason. Mind doing so? I dont think that group could have outdpsed 3 glads on dual weild autoattack,one sorcerer nuking and one cleric dpsing/healing. No i dont think so..

I actually think that our sorcerer was doing more damage than their cleric+chanter combined. And that leaves our 3 gladiators and me vs their 2 gladiators. Impossible.

It`s quiet annoying how no staff dared to reply or such on this. by then that someone could prolly transfer hes stuffs already before getting banned or such

You answered yourself right after actually, I personally don't see how this could happen, unless it was some sort of bug in the loot system for these bosses.

Has any other legion tried to steal this boss from you guys before? If so, how did things end up? It could be a loot bug that would give the loot to the least dps, but then again I'm no dev so I can't be sure about that until we do some testing. If this specific legion is the only one that can pull this off, call me next time you go to this boss, and I'll check them out myself.

Badrobot, google up Advanced Combat Tracker, and get aionparse for it, then try your best to configure it. All you gotta do afterwards is have it open while you engage in combat, it's perfect for trackiing DPS on people, can handle tracking DPS of A LOT of people, I've used it in fortress sieges to check out how people are doing with the DPS. Use ACT to make sure you're getting the upperhand on DPS so we can have more info on what is going on.

Regarding the Ares Fairy report, no action would be taken until we know what happened. I apologize for not having replied to that, and for not having tested all of this before. This weekend I'll put more time into this as I'll have more time to do so.

 

that tonny.i think a few weeks ago i saw them jumping from one instance to another non stop.they finish quickly too.try to follow them but no luck

 

I ran hundreds of tests a long time ago. Weaving is unparalleled in terms of DPS.

If I remember correctly, I pushed out 1.5x what autoattack did. I usually managed 4.2k dps unbuffed. That was in 2.7 with Flarestorm Dagger/NSDE Mace.

As for the loot, no clue what happened. Maybe auto-attack doesn't add to total damage. Maybe they abused a bug. Maybe they outdps'd you.

Protip: the best dual-wield combination for gladiators is dagger/mace. The attack speed is faster than dagger/sword (for some reason) and it outputs more damage.

 

Mace/Mace if you have WoC2, and using 188 DMG 20% chance godstones on both (acquired from quest to kill 3 Generals). The magic boost on mace will make those 188 godstones turn into ~500 damage ones, and with dual wield it becomes a 40% chance to proc, making an increase of around 500 in DPS.
