I can't start the game

    Hi.

    I have problem to start the game.

    When I start the game, after SmartGuard Banner the error message
    "Can't find running client.Try to start the game"
    and SmartGuard error messeage : "PatchGuard Disabled"
    I have played the game last 3 weeks, and I didn't change client location.
    When I changed character, it crashed, and after I can't start the game
    I tried : Vaccine off, Force Check, Folder location setting

    Please, try a File Check: Open your Patcher > Settings > Force Check.

    You say force checking didn't work and you haven't changed the location of your game but have you had any software changes since the problem started? Try:
    • Restarting your computer and relaunching the game
    • Opening the launcher and installing the Visual C++ and restarting your computer
    • Make sure your antivirus and firewall is disabled OR that exceptions have been made/are still there

    Same problem here, randomly happened just cause 1 days ago i was playing the game and today dont work anymore.

    restart computer work for me but after that when the game disconnect, this error pop up again. im sorry for ma broken english

    btw. im not using any AV even windows defender its turning off all time, same with my firewall
    im not instal any software or something i just playing bdo like before

    Let's try this:
    • Set the compatibility to Windows 7 on the client
      • Navigate to your GamezBDO folder and look for the bin64 folder.
      • Open it and right-click on BlackDesert64.exe.
      • Select properties and go to the compatibility tab and select Windows 7 from the drop-down menu.

    This doesn't work for me.
    Restarting my computer worked a couple times but it doesn't anymore.
    I've tried everything told in this post but I still can't enter the game.

    What version of windows are you on? If you're on Insider Preview edition, revert to the normal one. Run system file checker as well.
    • Run command prompt as administrator and type in the following command
    • Code:
      sfc /scannow
    • Press enter.
