App can't run on PC launcher problem

Hi, Im having problems running the game from the launcher and getting this problem, I have updated all the requirements, and tried it on different compatibility version, included on firewall/defender, ran on admin.

 

Did you try reinstalling the launcher? Try running the game with the .exe file: Click to download

 

Hi noyah, thx for the reply, I tried creating in a new directory that seems to solve the problem by downloading it again, but I have encountered another problem, "Method not found 'System.Array.Empty" I tried doing the fix you posted on another thread about group policy and editing it, but I can't find
"User Account Control: Behavior of the elevation prompt for administrators in Admin Approval Mode" under
"Computer Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options"

BTW I am playing the game already and having fun with it on my desktop but I'm fixing it on my laptop so I can play it anywhere.

Hi, sorry for the very late update, Ive followed the steps in installing the .net framework but made my OS(Windows 8.1) unstable and getting blue screen every few mins in login screen of windwos, I formatted clean slate, installed the .netframework via windows update, downloaded the new launcher and set it to ran as admin and worked. the problem was it needed the latest version of the .netframework and I was installing the .net framework manually so I encountered the problem with my OS, anyway thanks for the guide, hope this helps for the others.
