Dear Gamezaion

This month marks my 3rd year as a member of the Gamez forum. I thought it would be appropriate to make a thread, since I've never been a part of any community for so long.

Although I started playing roughly a month or two before I made my forum account. I can't remember exactly how long I actively played for, although it is most likely a year or more. Even though I don't post nearly as often as I used to, there is a special place in my heart for the Gamez community. I've always come back to see what's new, and although it saddens me that I don't see most of the same old faces I'm glad the game is still going strong. I'm also glad to see those who have stuck around (yeah I'm looking at you Brian, you think I forget, don't you?).
Through the 3 years I've been a part of this community there has been a lot of growth and change in my life. I'm surprised whenever I think about the fact I was in highschool when I joined gamez. I'm going on my 2nd year of college now, holding a job while doing classes, and life seems to get more and more complicated. I've had good times, and it has never been quite the same with any other game. This community is pretty fantastic, and I learned to like even the people I was not fond of at certain points. I even got a chance to play alongside Carl for a while (a different game, no I won't tell) and he absolutely surprised me. He's a really nice guy, even though he doesn't talk much. Very polite and generous.

I won't ramble on though.

This thread really doesn't have much of a point other than to say that I hope everyone is doing well. I hope you're all busy, but okay, and that everything is going more or less as you planned or hoped. I don't think I'll ever stop lurking the forums, unless they get closed down, so even if you don't see me I'll be here. Because I'm a ****ing ninja.

I really love topics like this, talking about old times is just awesome. I started playing the game last June 2010 and made my forum account last Dec 2010.

Some of my rl friends are also part of the Illusionist like Rochel (ranger) and others forgot their ign. I'm on asmo side since i started so i didn't managed to join the Illusionist.

Happy 3rd year on Gamez Community Forum, keep lurking on the forum.

 

Thank you, I truly enjoyed the PvP in aion. I remember winning a few 4-5v1s and having a blast in with 5v2s, just me and a guild mate. The PvP back then wasn't as zergy, I don't think...

Also whenever I log in elyos square is empty and idk where people hang out and duel now, it's really sad and upsetting >_>

 

Yep, so far the Aion is still the best PvP MMO game that i have played.

I remember those times where Raybunny and his group staying at the asmo fort on reshanta. I hate Raybunny at that time, he's an OP glad. xD
I'm playing ranger on that time name is Kichin, then changed name to Alkethia idk what's the client on that time it's either 1.9-2.1 client. The account is no longer alive though xD

I seriously miss those old times on Siel.

Elyos Square is mostly empty now. People mostly hang out at the Hall of Prosperity. It's too laggy there. -.-

 

Actually, you can be a governor before for like 1 or 2 hrs of PvP. You can see tons of Governor before unlike now where only 1 governor for each faction. heh

Good times good times indeed. Everyone that could make a kill became governor... When Alente used to be player as well and Beluslan was the coolest place on Atreia, the concept of zerging was not here and pretty much you could race trough a battlefield completely populated in small battle groups. Sorcs used to one hit kill, and it was always fun. You don't know me, nor who I was back then but we used to fight several times... which ended most of it in me killed XD.

Is good you still lurk around I suppose, better that you held this place in high regards even with all its issues. As you, I don't think I will leave unless the place is shut down.
