Hero of Calpheon Quest Bug?

Hello everyone!

I'm having a problem with the Hero of Calpheon Quests. After this questline appeared the game it said I didn't meet the quest requirements.
I have the Human Calculator on top of the questchain and it requires the quest Secret Mission. But the Secret Mission Quest shows up at the bottom of my questchain. Which makes it impossible to get either of the quests. I checked out the codex which shows and it shows a completely different quest chain than mine. I have 4 quests;

A Dragon Born from the Stream
Encarotia's Signal
Secret Mission

I have tried restarting the game,
switching chars,
going to every npc in the questline to see if they give any quests

I don't know what I'm missing. Thanks for all the help in advance!

 

Could you provide a screenshot of your quests if this problem is still plaguing you?

 

Yes, problem is still the same.

 

Can you show me another screenshot with the "hide completed quests" ticked off. The quest has duplicated entries, this is also the case in retail. I searched and found a similar issue and this is the solution I found:

"Talking to the quest giver will tell you that you do not have enough knowledge and mark an NPC for you to go talk to, talk to that NPC then return to quest giver you'll now be able to accept it"

It didn't mark an NPC, unfortunately. Still the same. No quest option in her chat All quests before this one done and no other secret mission quest. Just my awakening and succession quests.

 

Is this a newly created character or is this a character from before the odylitta update?

 

I don't know when was the odylitta update but this character is 2-3 weeks old max.

 

If you look closely at my last screenshot I'm right next to her. Her interaction menu doesn't have a quest. I think that's the broken thing about this

 

I noticed that, I apologize. This is strange only because this particular questline used to have more quests under that tab. There used to be about 12 quests and some were duplicated. I think the quests/story revamp is what is to blame here. I did this quest on my DK last year but my questline is in a different order. I think what happened is there might have been some kind of mix up with the third route during that crossroad route choices after Paying off Debts. I looked at my own seasonal character and I see that I actually finished the questline and didn't realize it and it is in the same order as yours, having taken he third route as well. Have you tried going straight to where ever the quest giver is for Secret Mission?

Try clearing cache and see if that helps. I'll try to do my own little investigating to see if it's bugged.

Okay, I've looked through most of my characters and I've talked to some others who have run this questline and they seem to have had no trouble with it. Can you remember which route you chose for this questline? I'm going to move this thread to bug reports and ask @Kolka to take a look into it when he is available to.

 

I think it was the third route the one with Lady Encarotia's quests.
