IRC Chat is NOW available!

We now have an IRC Server available for people to chat, hangout and get support.


You will be able to speak to GM's... Request support and the like.

Also, Legion channels will be available!

There will be a tutorial on how to connect in the following post!

Hey guys, as Karissa has just noted we're super excited about our new IRC server however some of you may be new to this whole shibang so here's some tips to get you started!

For those of you a little bit more adept at IRC the configuration is as follows.

Server IP: irc.esper.net
Port: 6667

The usable channels are as follows:

#GamezNetwork
#GamezAion
#CrystalAion
#GamezMU

Getting Things Configured:

Firstly you'll need to install an IRC client, we recommend either using mIRC or xchat

Once you've installed mIRC you will encounter the above prompt. Needless to say fill out your personal information before we begin.

Once that's done you will need to configure the server itself so hit Servers on the left-hand pane and lets get to it.

You will want to hit the Add server button after which you will see the screenshot above, fill it out with the GameZ connection info and then hit Add.

Once that's done you should see your new server at the top of the list, click that and then "Select" on the right-hand pane. After that either hit connect or press ok and hit the lightning bolt at the top-left of the client.

Simply type /join (channelname) and you'll land wherever it is you want to be.

Once your client is downloaded and installed you'll need to configure it to connect to the GameZ IRC.

Simply fill in all your profile details first, as shown below, and then click Add Server. Needless to say give it an appropriate name you'll be able to recognize.

Now once you've done that you'll want to hit Edit... to bring up the following prompt.

Hit edit once more and configure it as shown, once that's done hit close and then connect on the next screen. You should be good to go!

Simply type /join (channelname) and you'll land wherever it is you want to be.

Just to remind you incase you've forgotten the channels are:

#GamezNetwork
#GamezAion
#CrystalAion
#GamezMU

Legions may request additional channels to be made for their legion with their officer core given operator access to said channel. We'll work out the details on that later.
