UI size

Why does it always comeback to 112%? It's quite tiring to edit it again and again



It's been a while btw PPL

 

Yeah happens all the time when i open my ely. Mine goes back to default ui size after i change it.

 

Extremely annoying shit, used to reset back to 78% every time i relog. Now i changed my resolution and it reverts back to 105%. Seems to only happen on older characters.

 

You know how to fix that sir?

 

Wouldn't be complaining if i did. Seems some people on retail had it as well and made threads on the official forum, no responce nor solutions there.

 

solution to the problem, Delete old Chars and make a new one, since old chars particularly have that problem. problem solved

Reported this issue last week, so far only very old characters came across with this issue, but recently one of mine as well which wasn't necessarily an "old" one. If retail had the same problem and they couldn't solve it either, not sure there would be a fix here but we will see. Either way I agree it is annoying and hope it could be resolved somehow in the future.

 

Spoke to Puddles about it months ago, she said she will look into it, then that Carl will look into it and you can guess what happened in the end

Not really, they just didn't look. Generally you get a lot of promises, but no results. When some staff member comes up with a workaround for a problem that has been around for months/years, they get told off that a fix was already being worked on and they should have waited, but then you still don't see an official fix being released (either months later or never). It is weird the way things work around here.
