Launcher problem

the launcher does not start the game, the same game folder to another computer works.
i have vista.

 

Need more detail about launcher does not start. Gamez launcher or NCsoft launcher? Also explain what does not start means, could be several different things. Just describe what you do and how it responds

 

Install this launcher in your Aion folder

GamezAion.bat

 

gamez aion launcher not work, click on play but nothing happens

.bat already done but nothing

 

I put in the folder gamezaion.bat I also clicked to open it, but it opens a black screen and closes immediately after, I've run the launcher but there is also the same problem

 

did you install the ncsoft launcher and attach the client to it yet?

 

nc soft launcher is installed aion.bin file you're referring to?

 

run your ncsoft launcher, set region to north america, right click aion in the not installed games list (if its not attached yet) -> properties -> browse and locate aion\bin32\aion.bin

then u might have to right click -> repair aion. after that u can try run the launcher again

Do you have avast or iobit malware fighter installed?

Also try right click the launcher and run it as administrator

 

yea is iobit maleware fault...happpen to me also last nite

 

I installed avast then I uninstalled it thinking it was the problem but uninstalling avast Gamerz aion does not start, I've tried to run it as administrator

 

if u had antivirus ...then fore sure it moving some files on quarantine.....now u need to repair game and blabla...^^ be sure your antivirus is not active anymore....and your firewall it s off also

nah it doesnt quarantine it, i know avast and iobit malware fighter just love to kill the aion.bin process the moment it starts. they dont delete the file, just kill the process. there is no need to repair. also avast might have fixed that by now, not sure it still does it. other antivirus programs r fine as far as i know. btw firewall doesnt matter. u dont even need internet until login screen. it should load that far without problems

open your task manager processes tab and see if aion.bin shows up for a moment when you click the start button in the gamez launcher, even if it is just for like 1-2 seconds and then closes

edit: hey try run retail through ncsoft launcher, see if it even loads, that will help a lot

 

aion.bin processes does not appear T.T

 

try run retail aion through ncsoft launcher play button, see if u can get to login screen at all

 

aion ascension work and also work other private servers

 

In that case I'd say you most likely aren't using the launcher properly. Put the bat launcher inside your aion folder and run it. I would understand why the regular gamez launcher might not work, but there is absolutely no reason the bat launcher shouldn't

 

I am almost having same problem i can get to the black Ncsoft screen and then a pop up telling me Aion1024 can not find location and exits me out
