Can't Connect :(

So i'm new to this server and as i use the launcher (GamezAion one) to load game i get to the NCSoft Logo screen and get an error that says: Failed to initialize game--Cant find path(something like that). Is there something im not doing or what? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you installed the GamezAion launcher in a different directory than your actual Aion client if I had to make a wild guess =p

 

It's probably what he said. That was my guess as well but I figured it might be something else so I referred you Smartik's fixes thread.

 

I tried loading the retail version and another server launcher and both gave the same error, im repairing now to see if that helps

 

It most likely will. Just make sure you install/extract the gamez launcher in your Aion folder (The actual installed game location, not NCSoft folder) and give it a shot again. =)

 

Still not working and i have no idea what im doing wrong, the launcher is in the correct place.

 

Could you check something for me real quick? Open your NCSoft launcher, click on aion and go to properties. Whats the path in there?

What I do with my client is this: When I download it and install it, I have to update it. The NCSoft launcher doesn't detect the game since it's not up to date/fully updated so I have to manually show the launcher where the game is. I right click Aion > Properties and then there's path. Click on browse and get to your Aion.bin. Then for some reason it wouldn't let me update thgough the "Update" option so I just click "repair" and it does the same thing. Try it that way, I hope it works out for you.
