New Player trying Aion Online

Hi guys,

Me and my friend just got bored of black dessert and we were looking for a new game to play.
and Aion seemed to be d most appealing for us via gameplay

We was planning to play @ retail server but we kept hearing how grindy it is for us starters on retail and might just get PKéd most of the time so we looked for a higher rate private server. to reached and learn the end game content a lil bit faster.


can anyone give us advice on how to level, tips and what or what not we should do on our leveling ?

what class would you recommend for a starter like me?

 

Well, I can't really recommend a class or race, because it is completely your choice. You will be the one who will collect items and play with the class and race you chose. If it's me, I would just choose a similar (identical) class I played in other games. There is a description about every race and class in the game :>

 

i just chose a ranger class.

btw is are there any specific weapon guide for certain levels?
i am currently lvl 35 atm just by doing quest getting a bit bored.. i wanted to fight some monster to learn my skills unfortunately I cant use some of my skills due to lack of weapon .

im currently playing @ elyos as the guide provided was elyos so yea.

There is an asmodian guide also.

It's either quests, or asking someone to mentor you.

Concerning weapons. In every city, the fortress of it, there are npcs that sell weapons and armors that are usable for 14 days. They aren't the best but they will do fine if you are questing.

hey guys so i just reached the max level and been playing with my skills trying to make a bit of my own skill rotation etc.

I noticed that there is LOooOTS OF skills on this ranger class. now i im having a hard time clicking them all .
do you guys use all of ur skills or there is some skills that i can leave out. how impactfull will it be if i did?
and i saw this macro stuff do you guys use this for pvp/pve .?
i was watching some youtube videos they seem to have 4 or 5 row skill bars of their skill slot how do i add on this 3 default ?
ive been wondering about my buffs i noticed whenver i buff something the other one gets override by my newly buffed skill. can someone tell me the rules/laws about these buffs ?

some are using all the skills but it depends on your own combo, i suggest you to communicate with people especially with those who play ranger class and seek some advice. watching youtube videos is quite helpful like you did.

i'm not using macro but some people are using it to easily change their weapons/ gears while pvping in just 1 click.

Option >Quickbars> and select all unselected options then save and ok ...
Now to ranger ofc Siel is full stigma means all classes have all possible skills . Yt videos mazbe show less skills due to stigma skill system of different servers .
You have to find your own combo . and every combo depend on situation .
Find someone who will duel you and try more then one duel on every class . Ranger is possible counter to mages if you know how on them , but is countered by plate classes.
Ofc in aion there is not meaning to counter everything depend on your own skill , internet con speed, PC and gear .

hello again guys.. thank you so much for making my aion life alot easier. and im really happy to meet probably few of the most nicest people I have ever meet in the world of MMORPG giving alot their time teaching new players . glad i picked elyos lol though of course im sure there are some in asmodian too

So Ive made a 65 ranger and made a SongWeaver too and I find it really interesting and unique compare in most MMO's ive played, Ive learned some basics now in the game , how to upgrade and how to join alliances and stuff.
I have done "IS" and got some bloodmarks , i bought some Discordant Accesories in Levinshor .
Now that im trying to Aim for my gears can someone please give me a list of what set/item/accesories of what I should get for my SongWeaver.
like Tier 1-3 list of set from best to least gears i can get in game that i can farm ingame for PVE and PVP?
I heard that d best gears are in cash shop but Im afraid not to spend real money just yet .


also if there is someone whos a veteran @ SongWeaver class I would really appreciate if you could give me some Basic combos for PVE DPS wise. and some basic PVP combos/skill rotation.
and some explanation of what are the Songweavers Jobs/Role in Group PVE/PVP so I dont get QQ'd on bigger events that I might join in the future.

Next, I recommend that you don't miss all 5 votes every 12 hours to save up credits for online shop weapons, I would also recommend getting Elite Arbiter Harp first and get a 10/10 silence godstone.
