Cannot login to Server

Hello.
I downloaded the Official server and then ran the Gamez Black Desert Online Launcher (as was stated in the Official front page).
It then updated, but is giving the error "Server Outdated".
If I use the 4 GB file provided in"http://forum.gameznetwork.com/threads/downgrade-guide.206094/", will it work or is there anything else to be done ?

There wasn't any need to downgrade anymore, server is currently running in 485. Run the normal BDO launcher again, wait for it to patch, and then install the GameZ launcher only, after that you are ready to go.

 

Official has a newer version (v 491), thus the problem. I was on vacation for a week, came back, and having same issue. Probably just going to have to wait for Carl to make a downgrade for this version.

 

Oh I forgot that official got a new patch, then you are going to have to wait until Carl updates to last version or releases a downgrade patch ;c
Lets be patient for a bit ♥ The new patch was just released right?

Hello. I had followed the procedure exactly that you had mentioned and was still encountering the error. This is my Ist time playing this, so was confused as to which steps to follow.

 

Yes Athrn32, I'm sorry, I totally forgot that official BDO just made an update, you are going to have to wait for a bit until Admin makes the new patch, hopefully it wont take long.

 

You didn't do anything wrong!

We just have to wait for Carl to push out a downgrade patch, or update the server to the latest version that official is on. Until then there is nothing we can do but wait!

 

Carl just said on Discord that the downgrade patch should be available, he said to start the launcher and follow the guide good luck!

 

Hello. I downloaded the Downgrade patch zip file (4.2 GB size) and replaced the files as instructed.
When I run "GamezBD Launcher.exe", it patches the launcher.
But after that the Official Game keeps opening automatically (even though I do not open it)and the Gamezlauncher.exe keeps saying that I have to close it. Is there a block or work-around for this ?

ok, so occured to me too after the recent update 7/21 , repaired twice, restarted, ans also cleaned everything

 

The server is down, that's why you can't log in.

 

I had updated the game to the latest client, then did the "Downgrade Patch" step from the new zip file attached 2 days ago.

 

The current version is 491 (latest version). You still can't connect?
