Whats with the Fail stack system?

So ive read threads that the failstack system is "enhanced" what exactly does this mean, is each failstack worth more? or is it just easier over to enchant items. ive been pretty much unable to build anything over a +25-28 with hundreds of tries. Sorry if this questions been answered havent seen a clear detail about what the new failstack systems like.

 

Stuff is slightly easier to enhance. Failstacks give you more % than on retail also. As an example, i made all my Pen with around 15 failstacks.

Also use cronstones. Weapons use only a few during the beta.
