Ban System

Hey! I'd like to suggest a different Ban System. I think we all realise that a 12h, 1d, 3d ban prevents no one from hacking or abusing, since it's more than obvious that the server is now full of cheaters. You ban one, 20 new appear! If the admins want to support fair play they probably have to be strict about it especially since there is no other proof that Aion is their priority for now. I understand the "losing money" part in case sb who donates lots of money gets a perma ban, but trust me... you're driving the server into a shut down and the money loss then will be more permanent than eternity. People start quitting because of this failing system...

 

They need to amend the ban system or else decent player including donator will leave this game.

 

Exactly! Many ppl already left and it keeps getting worse. I get it that some ppl experience bugs without having any intention but it's pretty obvious who does it intentionally!

 

I believe you are referring to the stats bug, correct me if I am wrong.
The system is not failing, not at all. The first offense is 12 hours, the second is 2 days and the third is already permanent when it comes to stats abuse.

 

As always, these threads and same like this will be ignored. (for sure)

 

12 hours for this kind of bug abuse is nothing, so yeah I consider it a fail system. 2 days is also nothing. Make it a week, or 10 days! 12h??? They go get a nap and then play again! How's that a successful system? Besides that until the moment somebody manages to record the perfect video in order to report and this video goes through every staff member weeks have already passed. I've been trying for weeks to report some hackers/bug abusers and there's always sth missing! And the result? We spend days trying to report while they only get 12h ban for WEEKS of cheating! Trust me, after a while you just want to play and stop chasing abusers. 12h and 2 days ban is nothing. This server is the proof.

PS: This isn't just a common bug. It completely ruins pvp balance. Even some hacks are better to encounter than this bug. Consider that too...

I agree with this in my opinion I have a shopmate he bans because of race shortcuts he ban for 12 hours he didn't take it seriously because no perma ban for that . He keep doing it all the time . He proudly say "You can make a reason to @Noyah if they want a fair race then they should fix the map "

You don't need to record 'perfect video' in order to report someone for stats abusing. You can simply send a private message to one of the staff members and we will check the player.

Well he can say whatever he wants, there is no way to escape punishment.

 

Until it does we have the right to suggest for alternatives in order to improve gameplay.

I know very well how to do that, but it's not always that easy.

But you're missing the point... This thread is not about "how to get them", it's about "we got them. now what?".

 

Of course you can, but don't expect to have new server rules over something that is about to be resolved.

Like I said, if you can't record a video, keep doing the same thing and report direcrtly to staff member and avoid the stuggle of using inspect and time.

They will be punished accordingly.

 

First thing ppl told me for Gamez when I came here is to "expect nothing" so I do not expect any change. I only hope for it. They could simply improve the rules, categorise bugs/hacks and adjust the penalties. It's not that hard to make it happen! They don't even have time for that?

 

The punishment for using hacks is already permanent ban.
