Stuck at "Updating Patch Files"

    Setting exceptions, as suggested in the GamezBDO Errors and Solutions thread, did not work. Any ideas how to fix it?
    uninstalling and reinstalling launcher did not do it either.

    fixed it by deactivating the antivirus during the process

    I have this same problem and it is not antivirus causing it since I don't have any on currently.

    If you don't have antivirus then it must be firewall or windows defender.

    Tried that too. Still the same problem.
    But that might be because i deleted the TR/Fuery trojan though.

    It detects some files as malware simply because the files we use are modified. Turn off your firewall/windows defender and launch the launcher again.

    As I said, i tried that already. In fact I am doing that as i write this.
    Any other suggestions?

    So you know the Status file which was one of the suggestions on how to fix stuff.
    Yeah that is empty and for some reason i don't have the permission to change it.
    Maybe that's what is causing it?
    I am the system admin btw

    It's empty because you have not patched the game yet.
    What about Real-time protection? Did you turn it off?

    Yeah, i tried that one already, still the same issue.
    Antivirus, firewall and real-time protection were off, still "updating patch files".
    No idea if it helps to figure stuff out but:
    Version:Gamez 678 Client 678
    That's probably all the info I got right now.

    Yo i have this same problem any have any solver to this? cant closer the client either.

    Update:
    It just randomly let me log in twice, but both times i got the "not enough system resources" error message and the launcher crashed.
    Then it got back to the previous issue.

    i got mine working, all i did was close the launcher through the task manager then i flipped my firewall on and then off and then restarted my PC and now it works try that.
