    Hello,

I've read this question alot now and it always seemed to me some people said yes, some people said no and some said maybe..

Is there anyone that can confirm anything regarding this?

I want to farm at hexes but I'm currently Level 58 and I don't feel like im dropping "good" for 10x droprates, not even regarding the earrings, but in General.

Do I drop better when I'm like 40-45 than with 58 or does it not matter at all?

    Thanks

Well its somewhat hard to tell. I have gone out knowledge farming on lets say lowbie nagas and fogens (glish) that are what intended for lvl 20-30 when im lvl 64? I get lots of black stone drops as if there is no decrease.

But on the other hand I have gone out to desert nagas and fogens and it seems the seraps neck drop less often then when they did when I was 59-61 grinding there.

Im like 95% sure there is no decrease in drop rate due to out leveling content as that would kind of break the game on retail but then again who knows with them Koreans and their wonky mechanics.

The droprate decreases, in all aspects.

It does not break the game due to the nature of progression. It's a way of player manipulation. Forces higher leveled players to move into different areas. Imo it's a problem we are heading straight for due to the level range on GameZ being very small. 56-64. That makes many spots not viable and many overrun. That's a discussion for another time though.

Well what i mean by break the game is on retail the game is designed to grind loot and enhance which leads back to looting due to high failure rate. If its decreased then it cant be by much, we may see the slight difference here due to the high drop rates but again its high drop rates so it cant be that bad. Maybe at lvl 66 cap isnt ideal to farm say witches earrings but I think its still ok for a 66 to continue farming desert and kamastilvia mobs.

The only way you will get that truth is if pearl abyss makes an official statement about it. Us players will just have to rely on theory crafting and speculation. Here on GameZ its not a big deal to make a secondary character, swap your gear over just for grinding specific area for specific loots and swap your gear back to your main for exp grinding to max level. slight inconvenience but what else ya gonna do? You could go full time premium and make your secondary character/s and level lock them at specific levels for specific areas I guess?

Drop rate is effected by out leveling enemies. There is enough data for it.
