Oasis very dry

Hi, I see that the Oasis gear is no longer working and all my characters are pretty much useless now.
Is there an alternative I can get that doesn't cost millions and is about the same power?

 

I am indeed sorry to hear about your loss, although I would like to point out, that the news about the new content update, and the ramifications of it, have been readily available to read about, for quite some time now.

No, there are no "easy" ways to replace your Oasis Gear, since it was a part of an event and only meant to be temporary.
I guess that you could do what everyone used to do, you know; Buy some basic gear, Enhance it, and Go fight some World Bosses.

 

Oh.. well thats too bad, I dont like the gear enchantment system in BDO, playing my alts was the only fun thing I had here, so I guess was fun while it lasted

 

In that case you can start working on narchalian. Its just like oasis. Get naru armor to pen, then exchange. Also you can get weapon. But sadly its only per family. So carefull where you open And i would recomended also complete valtara main story. Then you can unlock "valtara training" There you can get fast lvl 65 and get full capotia set

 

I agree with that, and I would also like to add that once a new patch comes out (it will probably take a while, since we just got one, likely towards the end of the year) you'll be able to convert nachillan gear back into a box and use it with other classes for the cost of 3 million (for all the three weapons) only, and those are even stronger than oasis gear so it will be worth it.

I'm just like you and play mostly for the fun and playing with my alts and oasis gear was perfect for that so I totally understand how you feel, I don't like enhancing either so for now I'm planning on buying some cheap green gear, upgrade it to +15 (it's a bit annoying, but it's not too difficult), combined with the free capotia gear you can get leveling up (as Salavat suggested), it might not be quite as strong as oasis gear but I think you can have some fun with that

 

I do want to ask/clarify as I understand oasis gear was supposed to go away but I still am finding Ellie in a few places. She doesn't sell meals or carrots but does still sell the gear boxes and compass.

I am finding her in Ody across from the warehouse and duvencrune by the north stable. The cities the main story quest takes you through I haven't seen her in but also not looking too hard and am stuck in Tarif until that bug gets patched (reports already in) for seasons.

Not sure if this should be a bug report or not so dropping this here for the time being to see what others think.

 

Everyone plays differently and for different reasons. It is completely fair if certain aspects of the game, are boring or bring you discomfort, that you skip them. However as I have said many times before, playing an Open-world-MMO game for just one single aspect, really doesn't seem like the best investment of your time.

I am perfectly aware of how insanely fragged up it is, that Pearl Abyss apparently want to advertize for Gambling Addiction. The horrible way that everything in-game is handled with a RNG, that doesn't seem even remotely approaching the percentages displayed. But I would not be giving good advise, unless I told you to try something, again and again, especially if it is challenging, and mostly if it is jarring to you, to look at the happening from another angle (ONLY within gaming is this applicable).

I would like you to consider and try a few times, to do some life-skills, processing, item crafting, worker empire, Trading, fishing, hunting, and of course Boss Hunting. i just found out today when i came to kill some time and immediately lost my mood i mean weapons, gears etc the weight on me was huge i have 1 or 2 alts and all of them had Oasis items even its an event last more than a year if i remember correct so what and why right now its ended idk it was too sudden at least i was expect an item not equal but compensate like PRI or +15 give away for replacement. thats sad to building up all over again in a work + life cycle basically says to me "there is no place for you"

btw what happend to horse market is it deleted aswell ?

 

Horsemarket; Nope, not as far as I know, however the rework for the Dreamhorse selling, might have reset it.

Also I am in full understanding of your predicament. I have more than once lost progress in Retail games, due to being away from it for years. Hope that the game brings you enough joy to just play it.

I believe that is a NPC that only sells items to Premium players.
