    I do prefer Nvidia, but ATI does work when one dont have that much money to burn. To answer you: marketing and sh**....I rarely see and ATI logo...

    Depending on the CPU specs and the motherboard you can end up buying a pricey card for a PC that will not use it well. It will cap the video cards...
