New and looking for advice.

Hello everyone and thank you for taking time out to have a look at my post.
I'm quite new to this server and looking for some advice as you could guess by the thread name.
My fiance and I are wondering which server would be the most populated so that we can actually advance nicely.
Also what the difference in game play would be with and with out the VIP(monthly and life time) status.
Is the server very one faction dominated or balanced (we will be joining Elyos regardless).

Siel: All stigma, more populated and more active, OP players. LOL
Lumiel: Stigma system implemented, balanced gameplay, lesser people.

Siel is recommended if you really want social life, but you can also hang out in Lumiel

Lumiel is basically empty. In siel elyos are more, but most skilled players are generally in asmo side. So there is a balance between numbers and skill.

History lesson, a few years back elyos were double the number of asmodians, plus many good players were originally elyos, and things were pretty imbalanced. Except for the fact that being an asmodian has always been more interesting, esp back then, since you had to fight through the sheer numbers of elyos in heiron/belu. A few asmodian legions gained fame and respect because of being able to destroy the elyos zergs with just a group or an alliance.
