New player question

hello guys , im new and i was wondering

what's the best place to start to farm a decent :
1: Lvl 65 Pve set , area ? instance ? ( IS tried to get invited but meh... hard to find a group that accept a newbie )
2: Lvl 65 Pvp Set
i was playing aion for 2 years before but it was 5 years ago , so i know everything changed since then , and im lost lol

if you know IS you can make your own alliance Recruit your own alliance find some players so you can go for it

 

Well, I'm not sure how many players do IS now, but with the free gear for level 60, you can actually enter IS with the group. Also, check LFG chat or Shift+V to look for available IS groups.

 

Well, Shift+V (LFG window) dont register groups/alliances,,,what now ?

 

Well, make sure that IS rift is up. If not, you really won't see any one searching for a group. If it's up, you can start your own alliance to enter IS.

cant see register groups / alli in LFG window

 

1. check in the middle of Panda/Sanctum if there is any glowing portal called "FARM ALLIANCE - INFINITY SHARD"
2. press shift + v
3. check if there is any alliance with <24 members and register

If there is no portal in the map, there will be no alliance. The IS portal spawn regularly, just waiting.
You can create a cleric, who always got invited into any alliances into any instances.
Try some solo instances like the auturiam sky fortress in cygnea (if you are elyos) for farming some kinah, stones ... while waiting.

 

I feel like i m talking with a wall, at all i cant see any registered group/ alli in LFG WINDOW (in my opinion its issue LFG search and not my)

 

If you are talking to walls, please get that checked out as soon as possible, doesn't sound good.

What the others are saying is that you may be checking at times when there aren't any groups, if that's the case, obviously you will not see any in the group window, makes sense, right ?

 

Xender is from Lumiel guys, and yes sometimes the shift+v window is buggy and doesn't display alliances, even though they link the alliance/group through lfg. People can still sign up for it through lfg I believe.

 

This makes sense now. I'm from Siel where both LFG chat and the group / aliiance window are good so sorry about your wall-talking problem.
Well in this case hosting your own alliance seems like a suitable choice. the gamez gm will fix the LFG and "shift - v" bugs soon, i hope.

 

It's not just buggy

Joe is right, the find group/ally window does not display group or alliance offers on Lumiel, you need to apply through the post on LFG.
