Stuck at intro kakao games

I wanted to try the server but after logging in with my account, the game starts and gets stuck at the kakao games intro.
No idea why this happened, my brother also tried the server and he can run the server just fine.

I think it might be smth with Northon AV, but I've already tried disabling firewall & scans...

Trying some other stuff now...

 

Go into C:\Users\USER\Documents\Black Desert
And delete the "User Cache" folder. Then restart the client.

Deleted the folder but the problem still persists...

It usually takes lil bit to load from there on some machines, how long are you waiting before you decide it's stuck?

 

10 minutes, the official loads in less than 5 seconds...
I'll wait a bit longer when I try again when I'm home.

Do you have some kind of antivirus?

I tried a lot of things to make it work but I can't find the problem. My brother runs the server just fine but he has no AV.

 

Is your brother using the same computer as you or no? I had the same issue, updating my drivers solved it.

 

No he's on his own pc, same network tho...

Nah, if you can run the original one then it can't be drivers.

 

Make sure you don't have MSI Afterburner while starting the game as this is the most common troublemaker when having problems starting the game.

The only other thing I could think of would be to open MSCONFIG (WIN+R) and disabling all non Microsoft services from starting and then restarting your computer.
That would at least make sure that the problem is not caused by a third party software.

 

Well what could be the problem.
1) If you have antivirus software don't disable go and make exceptions to running the program.
2) What SFNS said about startup programs.
3)Make sure you ran gamezbd launcher as admin
4) What OS do you currently have?
Last but not least. I would recommend game booster and driver booster as one closes unnecessary processes and the other updates your drivers and tell you when they are out of date.

 

I'm having this same problem
I have no antivirus, ive deleted user cache, ive restarted my laptop, ive deleted background processes that sometimes gives me issues with other games. Yet, i still get stuck at the kakaogames intro screen. I can move my mouse around and id hear it go over the buttons on the home screen of the game and the music would start up, but id just have that annoying blackscreen with kakaogames on it <3>

Got an exclusion for Gamezbdlauncher. I'm trying out disabling the startup programs. But it hasn't changed a thing so far.
I need to run the gamezbd launcher as admin inside the program files folder. The launcher on my desktop can't be opened as an admin.
I'm on windows 10.

Installing those extra programs will be the last on my list.

It's still weird I can play the official servers just fine. And I never had any problems logging in there.
