Failed to Connect

    Just downloaded this one, but i can't connect to the server
    It said "Failed to Connect" when attempting to join the server
    (Haven't played nor create character yet)

    Any solution?

    i think this is a problem from a new registered player i think we just need to wait for them to fix it

    same problem, i just download the game, already make exception on AV, turn off windows firewall, try to connect with vpn (hotstpot shield), reinstall the launcher, game version already 466, launcher v.2.34 btw im using win 10 64bit and im from indonesia, maybe this game cannot play from some region idk.
    its take me 6 hour to download those 50gb file, and got nothing .sad

    Before im getting "Connection from the server has been lost" i redownload / restart / turnoff firewall & antivirus (add exeception to the bdo folder) / dns to google / login a fresh account now i get "failed to connect"

    anyhalp?

    go ask noyah, i already pm her but, it seems like this problem dont matter
    but when i read in other forum, it's because our IP or something that that got block
    someone say tried using WIFI instead of LAN

    i cant try it tho, im using pc not a laptop -_-

    sooooo we just need to wait while Carl fixing server tho -_-

    Ok thanks for the info guys. I thought i messed up with the installation. I hope it will be fixed soon :D Thanks again!

    UPDATE: At first i'm getting this Failed to Connect thing and now the launcher is closing by itself whenever i'm logging in my account..I hope this will be fixed soon.

    UPDATE 2: Im still getting the Failed to Connect notification.Tried reinstalling, Turning off my AV, Using VPN but to no avail. I have a feeling that its because of the region restrictions of BDO itself. But im still hoping that it will be fixed VERY soon :D

    hello,
    I had this error "failed to connect". i managed to figure out what was causing it for me. might be different for other people. i am using a security progam called "deep freeze" you can do a search to find out more. but basically what it does is protect your machine from any malware infection, corruption, deletion inflicted to your machine simply by restarting your computer and your back to where you first set the program status. like it never happened. anyways, this was causing my "failed to connect" issue so to fix the error, i have to disable the deep freeze program. it works ! but at the cause of disabling that kind of protection. maybe other people might have the same or similar situation. good luck.

    I hope @Noyah can see this and request a solution to the devs. many people play on computer shops and a lot of those shops use the "deep freeze" program to protect their machines from users. thanks.
