I had this issue, I ran as administrator and it worked again.

 

The same is true for me.
After updated version 509, i can't use VPN、running any latency reducer software or proxy.
In my group, there are more than 100 people unable to enter the game because the network latency is very, very, very serious

No changes were made with the system regarding VPN and Latency reducer softwares. The server IP address has changed.
Old IP: 64.91.227.116
New IP: 69.16.193.222

Disable UAC (User Account Control) and try again.

 

i always disable UAC, but still "valid authentication time has expired"

It usually happens if you try to launch the game again while the game is already running minimized in your tray and sometimes (apparently not always) if you are playing with a VPN.
