yesterday all the sudden the game crashes constantly, doesnt seem to crash when i stay in town. but it will randomly just close no warning, freezes completely requiring me to force close. and every once in a while it will crash my entire pc giving me the blue screen of death. Ive spent the past few hours chcking my pc and hardware everything is fine. i play the normal bdo server and other games no problem. i tired to run the force check on the launcher. and it does the check without downloading anything so i assume thats fine. please help.

The blue screen tells you what the problem is. You just need to read the information written. But I think it is your pc's ram. The reason why is maybe because your RAM is overloaded that causes the game to close without any warning. And also might be also coz your ram has bad sector already. Maybe your ram is a bit old. Just maybe. You still need to read the info written on blue screen.

Has nothing to do with your Graphics card driver or Overclocking, that wouldn't make any sense in the first place. It could be your Ram but I highly doubt it, BDO is a really fucky unoptimized game so errors are to be expected.

Could be a corrupt install so you could completely delete your game directory and re-download everything, but before you do that:

Try deleting your Cache folder (Program Files) and User Cache folder (My Documents) and let the launcher re-download it, and delete the Service.ini file in your Program Files BDO folder, this fixed it for me, I had the same issue as you at first. It was a problem I couldn't seem to fix but I haven't had it for a while now after doing this, also make sure your game always launches in Administrator mode. Do you run the game in Windowed mode? If so, try using Fullscreen-window.

If none of this works give me a list of what background programs you use while running BDO.
I've got a lot of hardware and software experience as it's practically my work irl (I'm an IT And Cyber Security Specialist) so I think I'll be able to help you with this.

Just a tip, blue screen is a hardware problems. It might be the GPU, HDD or RAM. From what you've said, there was a corrupted file thay causes windows to fail. That means it's the HDD. means that there is a file that spread and tye SOFTWARE windows catched it that caused the software to fail. That only means that you need to reinstall WINDOWS OS.

Also try checking ur Hard drive (would think that a "new" pc would come with an ssd) for errors. Fairly simple to do. Could be some file issues where your gamezbdo is located.
I would rule out everything else since u play the normal server and other games: not ram, not overclock, not power issues
