[SOLVED] launcher says cannot connect to server

hello, i got quite a problem here, the BDO launcher says that it "cannot connect to server, please check your internet connection"
but my internet is working fine,
I think the fact that I post the problem here in the forum is enough proof that my internet working just fine,

i really-really appreciate any help, instructions or workaround regarding this issue,

nb: I use laptop and using wi-fi to connect to the internet

still not working, i tried redownload the launcher, it says the same, changed the DNS, still the same,
i tried connect using cables, the issue still persists. what can i do now?

[SOLVED] nevermind, i found the culprit. it is the proxy setting on internet explorer (tools>internet options>LAN settings), i dont know why it affects bdo, it's not even my default browser. anyway, I can connect to the game now, thanks.
