Heating: Skilled

I have dug and dug... I match all the criteria, and more, for the villager to give me the quest to talk to Vatudun. He won't. I have all the beginner trade knowledges, artisan proc and gathering... the NPC just wont hand over the quest. Others are able to do the quest, sooo.

 

Have you tried "enable all quest" on quest window?

 

Yep. Also tried doing ALL of the beginner quests, since all of the skilled quests start with the same villager.

 

Just trying to make sure, you said you did all of the beginner quests meaning all 6 or just the 3 from Ficy? Just trying to get more specific so others can help.

 

All six. Finally just have up on it and having workers do the work much much slower.

 

I'm not sure then. I couldn't do it but I found out later that I didn't finish the other 3 quests yet. Hopefully gm's get back to you on this one. Goodluck

 

Having the same issue, the next step up in the processing Skilled quests are not being offered.

 

Yeah, you have to do his quest line to knock out ANY skilled, befre you can move on to higher tiers of learning.

As you can see above, every future quest for processing, and some gathering, starts with this one lol.

 

Unfortunately @DoomRabbit I have just completed the quest with Professional Gathering and Processing when I begun the quest so I do not really know what it is that is missing from your experience with the quest?

 

Neither do I. Most of my skills involved are master or artisan. I've been banging my head against this for awhile.

 

I can only recommend checking the database for all the quests and requirements just to go see if there are any steps missing working your way backwards or perhaps just forwards from the Beginner Processing quests, hopefully you will find something that you missed.

 

Running through all of it now with an Alt. About the only way I can fully retrack to see if I missed something... however I also do not seem to be the only one having this issue.

 

I remember on retail the first character of the account would always have quests they would never get, but the 2nd character on the account was able to see and do all the quests. I don't know if they patched this or not but might be something to think about.

 

Idk if your still having problems with this quest but i just figured it out you have to walk up to the villager in keplen thats at the forge with both melted iron shards and coal in your inventory, its a must in order to talk to him then he'll tell you to go talk to the guy in the mine.

 

Just to clarify: The Blacksmith in Keplan, with Melted Iron Shards, and Coal in your inventory.

 

Are you going through the guide tab on the black spirit menu...for each of the skilled prof. he will tell you what you have to do before hand...I just finished the skilled yesterday...and you have to do them in a certain order, because some of the skilled profs. require other skilled profs. first.
