Not able to breed pets from the same species... pearls thrown away for nothing

Can you remove those tier 1 pets from my account and refund me the pearls please? Idk why I can't breed them... I was in doubt wether to buy 100 artisans or 3 pets to make my pets t4 and i went with the pets.. i guess you know how frustrated i am right now... https://imgur.com/a/eghU2

T1 Level 10 Snow dog + T1 Level 10 Snow dog = T1 Snow Dog still???

T3 + T1 both under level 10 .. worked just fine until tier 3

T1+T1 turtle both under level 10 = T2
T2+T1 turtle both under level 10 = T3
T3+T1 turtle both under level 10 = impossible

T1+T1 rabbit both under level 10 = T2
T2+T1 rabbit both under level 10 = T3
T3+T1 rabbit both under level 10 = impossible

T1+T1 karlstein cat + grey moon cat under level 10 = T2
T2+T1 karlstein cat + grey moon cat cat both under level 10 = T3
T3+T1 karlstein cat + junaid cat and another karlstein cat both under level 10 = impossible

 

Can't breed a T1 with a T3; get it to T2 and you can breed it with your T3

 

oh my god so many pearls for t4 pets..

edit: it worked.. T3+T2 = T3

 

lol yes, that is true. To be honest, you should've checked the google first dude. It's a common mistake which I also learned the hard way after experiencing one.

You can not exchange pets that are more than 1 Tier apart. For example you can exchange a Tier 1 pet with a Tier 2 pet, but not a Tier 1 pet with a Tier 3 pet.

You cannot breed two pets that are more than 1 tier difference apart. For example you can breed a Tier 1 and Tier 2 dog but you cannot breed a Tier 1 and a Tier 3 dog.

That being said, regarding the pearls? Hey, it's free right? You just need to afk and patience. Do other stuff like lifeskilling. You can do so many things in the game.
Donating can also help because being a premium membership gives you an additional 20 pearls so instead 80 pearls every 30mins, it gives 100 pearls + the other perks.

Its been told on retail T4 is not worth the pearls/money, T3 is best value. Since pearls come free here it might ok to spend thousands of pearls for 5x T4 pets but I still dont see the value in it unless you have everything else you "want" "need" from the cash shop first. Get 5x T3 > everything you want/need from cash shop > then work on T4 pets.
