Launcher issue [Solved]

So first actual post for me,
The gamezlauncher was working perfectly fine for me but after a pc freeze and crash, it stopped working and not launching. It was not visible in task manager under processes or anything else.
As adviced on the discord i downloaded the latest launcher.exe and replaced it, still didn't launch. I noticed when adding a number to the launcher.exe to for example launcher1.exe it would launch and patch etc, but when launching game it would give the error of please launch the game from the launcher.
Ive tried to uninstall the launcher, repair the game files to retail again and then launching the launcher , tried force checking from the launcher with modified name. Nothing has worked so far.
The files are all in exceptions of my antivirus, allowed through firewall too. I made sure the files are not on read only mode too. Tried running in admin mode also tried restarting my pc.
I don't know what else to try at this point. Any other suggestions would be nice.

 

What caused the crash?
Corrupted directories could cause your issue.

Crate a new directory and copy your game files into it. Then install a fresh version of the client and link it with the new directory.

If that didn't work there is most likely something wrong with your system in general, being software or hardware.

Did you notice other changes after the crash? Slow reacting programs, input lag or other?

 

System has been working fine though i haven't found the issue yet why it froze in the first place.
I will try to copy my retail bdo again since it doesn't have any issues and hope that it works.

EDIT: So copied my retail bdo files to a new directory, reinstalled the launcher again. The launcher got stuck at updating launcher 100%. Replaced the launcher with the newest version and it didn't launch again.

 

I'll think of a solution and where the problem could be. Will answer once I have something to offer.

 

You copied a client from retail so now you have to downgrade your client, as were not matched with retail. Download the downgrade patch from http://forum.gameznetwork.com/threads/download-mirrors-client-patch-v683-community-provided.210022/ (third spoiler) and drag the folders to your client. If it asks to over-write click yes.

I would start with a fresh copy of the retail client.

 

I figured that Somewhere the files were still corrupted and the uninstaller wouldn't remove them, so I went to my %appdata%/local folder and deleted GamezBDO. After doing so the launcher launched without issues. So if someone runs into this issue they should do the same.

I was considering giving the suggestion of deleting documents data but wouldn't see the issue with it. Good to see that it worked though.
