Avast Reporting URL:MAL

Since the new update me and my brother are getting a URL:MAL report from avast saying "play.gamezbd.net" is infected with malware and aborted the connection. is this another false positive? when we try starting the launcher now, the launcher just tells us to "restart the launcher" over and over again.

 

i have the same problem, and followed the guides step but still the same.

 

yep same thing happening to me, just started with the new update. like 30 minutes ago

 

alright so i just decided to white list the site in avast by putting it on the exclusions url list. hope it'll be alright, i did a virus scan on virustotal.com and all tests came up clean so that's good enough for me, for now. would still like someone to confirm it though. https://www.virustotal.com/#/url/f0...569454470124140647fd7cfa319c6071ecb/detection

Our anticheat file is modified to block more hacking programs. This sometimes triggers a virus detection because these programs think modified always = virus, even when it is not. This is why the exemptions are needed. For the issue of it asking you to always restart, try this: http://gamezbd.net/launcher/GamezBDO.exe it's the launcher alone, not the entire gamez.
