RBF - The Fix.

    So I'm sure everyone has had RBFs (Red-battle fields) that are completely one-sided or just having no fun at all because everyone is camping the spawn,

    Yeah, me too, but i think i have a solution to the problem, because at the current state of the game, RBF isn't used for PvP fun, most people i've talked to have said adamantly that they hate RBF and they only do it for the Rewards, now what can we do to fix this attitude?

    As stated by Kolka i believe, the game mechanics cannot be changed or edited without a lot of effort and time which is being spent on dealing with other issues...
    So what do we do now that we know we can only affect the rewards given at the end of an event?

    Solution 1:
    Change the RBF rewards to Savage Rift, that way everyone can participate in get rewards for their efforts and gear isn't a factor. Also Savage Rift has chances to drop boss pieces another incentive and it would encourage teamwork and communication which brings the community closer which in turn will bring more people into the game.

    Solution 2:
    Team Battles, the Team battle System is implemented into the game (i don't know if it functions but it's there) why not use that instead of the RBF, if you're wondering what the team battle is, it's basically 2 teams of 5 people are moved into a sectioned off portion of battle arena with flags marking the edge of the area step outside and you will be given a 5 second timer to return otherwise you are disqualified the goal is to defeat the opposite team of 5, this team can be premade and will be balanced with the total amount of GS (gear score) being matched with another team with a close GS then the two teams will engage in 1v1s with the winner staying on to fight the next opponent and yes this means if you're good enough you can go through all 5 members while you other 4 members do not have to do anything.

    Solution 3:
    Gear-Capped RBFs, so it's pretty self explanatory, if you have over 150/150/250 you cannot join the RBF. (these numbers were taken from Retail so if you have better AP/AAP/DP sweet spots comment them below

    Anyway give it some thought and please let me know if you have any other ideas about how to fix RBF

    Another Solution to the Spawn camp issue, Make it so everyone who spawns has 12 seconds of instant "Protection" just give them a 12 second PA. it will allow them enough time to get to the ground and out of spawn without being too long so as they have a massive advantage in fights. now it may give them an advantage in the fight but in my opinion if they can get to you in 12 seconds, you are too close to their spawn. And before anyone says "just talk to the potion vendor he gives that buff" I know genius but alot of new players dont. therefore they instant die out of spawn and winge and cry about it and leave the game making it a completely one sided fight in RBF

    Sorry just wondering if its me, my connection or the old hacks are back.
    Anyone noticing 1-3 hit insta boosted damage even with 330+ DP and up?
    Or instant cool downs of skills that should have a longer cool down not to mention even with full DP / protection aura buffs you still get killed?
    Do those skills even exist? o_O
    RBF when it becomes one-sided, the only way you can win is to have 600GS+ players come and help you join. Even with 580GS, your a dead meat if you stumbled upon those all PEN accessories (Tungrad earrings, Tungrad Belt, Tungrad Necklace, Ring of Crescent Guardian) AP monkey players.
