Solved Can't play error code: 0xC0000005

New player here.
Installed the game via the gamezbd launcher from scratch. hit start. the game window opens and the
closes/crashes with the following error log.

[22:27:02] Game terminated with error code: 0xC0000005

Try to update your OS, it will solve problem at most cases.

everytime i try to play i get this error, is there any solution that doens't require installing Windows 10?

the odd thing is that i can play the retail SA version of the game perfectly fine, idk wth is happening whenever i try to play this version

 

Some malware camouflages itself as sslsp105.dll. I suggest you run a full system scan and see if there's anything.

i got a new PC and Gamez worked fine for almost 1 month now... but i switched my PC from German to English language and after that this Error Code showed up and Gamez doesn't start... i switched the language back to german, reinstalled Gamez and i even redownloaded and installed the retail BDO to make a new Gamez client... nothing helps... and in the folder is no Data called like this... can anyone help me? Tried it with Windows Defender On and Off... same results...

Try to update your Operating system, this should help
Or check if you have any overlays turned on. Like Nvidia Shadowplay. Try to close any possible software and check if the game wil launch.

well i even reinstalled OS now and still can't play the game... now it starts without error codes but it instantly closes like i cant even go to log in... well guess thats gg for me then.

i have the exact same issue any answers?

for real? i spend like 400€ on this server and dont even got a single answer from any mod for a problem the server or the launcher gives me? lmao.

 

î reinstalled my OS because i had no other chances (no answers for my first question?) then yea i got rid of the 0x Bug and then? now i have the bug shown on the video on the GAMEZ server! i cant play the game since then!

try running the launcher in admin mode, if that doesn't work go into properties and change the security settings to allow read and write

 

i tried both, still getting the same Errorcode, i installed game from the launcher and rebooted PC few times.. still the ErrorCode.

When i delete the J:\BlackDesert\bin64\libxl.dll file the launcher wont start
