Remote desktop keyboard not working

I use Vnc to control the game when I'm at work but now the keyboard doesn't work, I tried teamviewer and also the onscreen keyboard of windows but nothing seems to work.
Is there a way to fix this?

 

This is likely due to the fact the new anticheat blocks third party software.

 

Is there a way around this? Vnc is useless now.
Is there a program that does work ?
The mouse works fine its just the keyboard

 

Would like to know this too, and if it's possible to allow exception for harmless programs such as teamviewer, vnc, etc. for SmartGuard?

I also like to use teamviewer while at work to access BDO and at first I thought it was TV that was the problem.

 

Haven't had time yet but I'll look into it soon, maybe first contact staff to see if it's allowed to bypass it, reshade doesnt work to so that would also be nice to get it to work

 

Hmm, alright. Do you know the easiest way to contact staff? Like discord, ping here, ticket or something? I just joined couple days ago so I'm still kinda getting used to how this server works xD

There is no way around it. It is blocked by the anticheat.

 

Oh And there is no way to change that feature of the anticheat?

 

Well there are still people cheating so there should be a way around it, is it OK to look and test?

I confirm, Remote Desktop Protocol works fine. However if you remotely connect from a computer with a lower resolution it could mess up the game. I would recommend resizing the game window to a lower resolution on the host computer before manipulating remotely.

/!\ RDP isn't available on Windows 10 home. A third party tool would be requiered to allow it.

• To remotely connect, run Remote Desktop Connection app from the Windows start menu. You can also launch it by running (Windows Key + R) mstsc.exe. From there type in whether the computer name or the local IP address of the host computer. Note that the host computer must have a password set to allow remote connection.

• Now to use RDP from outside your local network, you need to set a VPN connection. It doesn't need to be on the computer that hosts the game, it could be on another one, on your router, or a NAS or whattever equipement in your local network. I personaly use OpenVPN, which is free and fairly secured eventhough it is a bit tricky to setup but Google will help you set it up. Other VPN solution exist out there, up to you to find one.
