T4 Hedgehog auto-gather not working?

So I just made my web shop hedgehog tier 4. I tried to auto gather by standing near shrubs/bushes for more than 10 minutes. I deactivated and activated the special skills and waited for another 5 minutes without anything auto gathered. I also relaunched the game to test but still did not work.

I got enough energy for gathering and was not moving around.

Can anyone tell me what is going on? Or I have done something wrong?

I dont know what causes this bug, this happens to me but rarely in my experience. i would suggest leaving it overnight and see if the problem resolves itself.
if not try to:
check that you have 5 slots empty
Gather bushes yourself. sometimes this reactivates them.
Set an auto-path to get other spots. once they gather a hard/sharp you will stop auto-pathing.

I personally would go South of Velia in the Potato fields.

Remember to check whther you have them out, and that their Special ability is activated.
