Launcher doesn't work?

Hi! Just downloaded the game today but once I log into the launcher and press the "Start" button it takes me directly to the SmartGuard screen with the message "launching game" at the bottom but after that it closes and takes me back to the launcher screen, already checked the forum but I cant seem to find anybody with that issue/fix, could I get some help with that issue?

Or my favorite solution list: Restarting your computer, restarting the Launcher, Deleting the username\documents\BDO\cache folder, Run a File-Check through the Launcher. Hope it works

 

Sadly no, just tried all your recomendations and some of the list but nothing works, but thanks anyway for the reply!! , I hope to be able to play soon.

 

Running the VC*.exe in the "redist" folder in the GamezBD-game-folder might help...it installs Visual C++ for you.

 

Just tried this metod too, still the same result with the game not even passing from the smartguard screen.

The most common solutions:

1. Set GamezBD-game-folder as an exception to the Firewall and Anti-Virus
2. Set Launcher.exe and BlackDesert32/64.exe to "Run As Admin."
3. Check to see if your anti-virus has "Controlled Folder Access" enabled (disable it)
4. Visual C++ updated
5. rename the folder to GamezBDO and point gamezbd launcher to that. Rename version.dat to config.filecheck - it forces complete file check for corruption and requires the files that are corrupted
6. Navigate to the following directory in your computer: %userprofile%\Documents\Black Desert

• Delete the UserCache folder.
• Delete the Cache folder in your game installation folder.

Make sure your video card drivers are up to date.
Go to Start -> Search -> type Device Manager -> Display Adapters -> Right click on your video card -> Update Driver Software -> Search automatically for updated driver software
7. Check for Windows Updates, version 1903 currently being used...the 1909 is not yet released "officially"

 

tried everything but still not working
just wana ask a question , in the download forum there was a 37+gp download and there was another 8gp download i downloaded it and extracted it into the official bdo eu server should it even work? coz i tried everything written above but nothing works

 

Well there is your problem...Thought it was made clear in the "common errors and solutions" section.

You cannot copy the GamezBD files into another version of the game.
You will have to download the GamezBD-version of the game and use that.

A great idea is to keep one copy of the game somewhere else, so you will not have to download it again in the future.
