Sound but no voices

i know the game isn't fully voiced but i can't even hear my own characters voice. I can't hear any dialogue at all. I can hear all other sources of sound. I've tried to restart the client, and my sound settings in game are all turned up.

 

Go to your documents > Gamezbd > GameOption.txt and set your "AudioResourceType" to 2
then go to folder "UserCache" then you'll see a lot of folders there. Take a look at every folder and look for the "GameVariable.xml" file and set the "AudioResourceType" there to 2
there isn't any GameVariable.xml file inside some folders, but some of them will have. Make sure to do this while the game is closed.

 

Has the problem been solved?

If so, could you please add a "_Solved" to the title of the posts, for future reference, it just helps out the staff of GamezBD.

 

Hi, im having the same problem with my BDO was well. but i am not see the GameOption.txt etc in my folder

 

i had this problem as well... but when i looked in my black desert doc folder everything was fine / checked as stated above.. i then checked the gamezbd doc an yes you have to change the values in there

 

hi, in my documents doesnt have the Gamezbd folder :{ should i redownload ?

 

a simple launcher run should fix this...otherwise run a file-check as I suggested, did you check to see if changing the language to english made the difference in-game?

There is no image at all, also there is NO NEED TO SHOUT!

Also, your instructions are unclear. You cannot edit the xml file and find ANYthing that says 'Audio'. No results in search.

Please do more research into the problem before proposing a solution that won't work.

 

You're telling us to do more research when you don't even know how to edit an xml file. Use notepad++ to edit. You're saying that it doesn't work because you haven't edited those xml files yet.
Also the instructions are pretty clear maybe you just need to read it a couple of times to get it right. I've given this fix to a bunch of people and it works for them so idk about you.

All of which have been answered, and a solution has been presented, in writing by the way @Alexxion, and it might be because I have an ad-blocker installed that I am unable to see the image, so just for clarification, when I said (in my previous post) that there was no image, the smart thing to do would have been to immediately provide a helpful link to the image, don't you think?

Also sorry if I sound a bit testy...just been dealing with "a lot of flack" from players, and it is quite tiring to have to repeatedly use the same answers over and over again, if the topic already has been posted and answered once, twice, or more. I just wish that players would start being more proactive themselves, instead of telling me to go do research about this and that, when it really isn't my job to do so at all, in Fact it is very much up to the players, to make proof and provide the information that their claims are based on.

Now I get that in these cases, there was a problem with the program, but then it should have been posted in bugs, best way would have been with a video showing the problem, and what the player had done to try and solve it, but that obviously didn't happen, which lead it to be posted three times or more, with the same explaination and solutions offered.

So while I am not mad at you specifically, I am quite irritated with the complete lack of being able to take responsibility, that Far too many players exhibit, and that it is indeed up to Them to READ about things, Make the Forum Searches, Google Searches, and Then come up with a proper way to present their findings, remember that most of the things posted in here (forum), are merely complaints, dump-takings on the staff of GamezBD, as well as reports about things not working the way they should -according to another version of the game by the way- Or how some players just want to the game to work.

Again, I do apologize that this mini-rant was intertwined with an answer to your response, but I just needed to say how I felt about things, and while I did not mean to make this about you or your post, I simply just had to say what I was thinking at this very moment. So sorry @Alexxion...nothing personal at all...just in a mood is all.
