In this little guide I will teach you how to set up and use Macro's.



First of all, what is a Macro?

A Macro is like a hotkey, and when pressed, it will reveal a sentence posted by your character.

This is a popular technique used by sellers/buyers to advertise their items and by guild masters to recruit.




So how to set one up?

Hit enter, and type:

"/#<message>"

The "#" represents the number to which that particular Macro will be set to.




To activate your Macro, press "ALT+#" (The # corresponding to the macro you want to activate)




So here's the full example:

/1 I am the best

By presing (on your keyboard) ALT and 1 at the same time, your character will reveal that message as if you have typed it yourself!




Don't forget you can set more than one Macro! Simply type another message, but change the number and when your press ALT+# to reveal it, hold the number you set the Macro to.
