I have found a new bug concerning 4.0, where do i report it?

4.0 Specific Bugs Thread is what you are looking out for. You may also report existing bugs to online Aion Masters.

I have a problem with my client on 4.0, what do i have to do?

4.0 Client Errors Compilation should help you out in this case.

I'm not able to see my characters armors/weapons nor the other players, just floating heads and partial map, what do i have to do?

Repair your client and re-download the latest items.pak making sure you install it in Aion/Data/Usa/Items and keep the original items.pak in Aion/Data/Items

How do i move to the new 4.0 zones, Katalam,Danaria and Idgel Depths?

You can easily teleport to Katalam and Danaria through normal Teleporter NPCs in every level 9+ region and by using Aerolinks in Gelkmaros/Sarpan.
Idgel Depths, Also Known as Underground Katalam is not available since the teleport gates were not implemented yet.

My character is stuck at level 9, but i was on another level before 4.0, how can i fix that?

The only way to get your character back to your original level is to complete the following quests:

Asmodians:

A Ceremony in Pandaemonium

Elyos:

A Ceremony in Sanctum

Some players might be stuck in maps other than pandaemonium/sanctum at level 9, and therefore they will not be able to use any scrolls to move away and fix this bug. In order to fix this additional issue, send a pm to any online Aion Master requesting a teleport to Sanctum / Pandaemonium.


My Godstones,Manastones,Enchants vanished from my Weapons, what do i have to do?

We are not completely sure about the origins of this issue, but in order to fix it you will have to:

-Clean your Cube (Inventory) leaving some empty slots (2 rows at least)
-Remove the equipped items affected by the bug and place them in the empty inventory slots, make sure there are still free slots available yet.
-Relog

Once you log in again on your Character, your manastones/godstones/enchants should appear again. In order to avoid this bug to occour, make sure to have plenty of free slots in your inventory until an official serverside fix comes out.

I am not able to wear my Distorted Dragon Lord's Weapons anymore, what is wrong?

Distorted Dragon Lord's weapons, also known as DDL extendeable weapons are affected by a special level restriction made by NcSoft , which allows them to be equipped until level 63.
This restriction was removed Server-side, but in order to apply the change on your client you will have to use the latest Item.pak.

You can easily download it and install it following this guide:

What happened to Rank restrictions on Abyss Weapons and Armors?

In order to allow players equipping every item, even those who require Soldier Rank1/1-Star Officer/General/Governor on retail, we have decided to remove this restriction permanently.
If you are not using the latest Items.pak, the restriction will still show up, but it will not stop you from wearing those items.

Is the atk speed of Greatswords/Spears/Dual handed weapons bugged?

Yes it is, right now dual handed weapons are counted as dual wielded ones, therefore any of them will be faster than 1handed weapons, such as swords/daggers etc.

Abyss Relic Exchangers are not working, is that a bug?

No, it is not. GamezAion is supposed to be a PvP server, Relic Exchangers were always disabled in order to avoid players farming massive amounts of APs whitout PvPing.

I am not able to open the GamezAion Credit shop, what is wrong?

The GamezAion credit shop is a custom feature of our server, since it has been disabled on retail Aion.
You may fix this issue by re-downloading the GamezAion launcher from www.GamezAion.com. Make sure the launcher updates on your client, implementing this feature.

Some Items/Sets are missing in the GamezAion Credit Shop, is that a bug?

Yes, nothing to worry about. "Missing" items (Such as Sheperd's staff, Ambassador's Divine Leather set, etc) will be added to the shop as soon as possible.

I have got a question which is not showing up in this thread, what do i have to do?

Try to use the "Search" function on forums to find an appropriate answer to your issue/question, if your research is not successfull, send a Forum Private Message to any Aion Master or create a public thread about it.
This thread will be updated when needed.



Quest Issues:


The quest Lay of the Land / Tiamaranta Training can not be completed right now

The Katalam Campaign quest "Not Desert Nor Danger" / "Survive by the Sword" Is glitched at Step 9 (Search for Kahrun in Beritra's Temporary Sentry Post. In order to update the quest you will have to follow the following steps:

Elyos:

Close to Beirtra's soldier's Corpse there is a small Balaur outpost with various Beritra Balaur soldiers. Move to the middle of the outpost (You will have to kill the Balaur) and relog. The quest will update afterwards. You may not be able to hit the correct spot on first try, just try again moving your character by a bit

Asmodians:

Close to Beirtra's Corpse there is a small burning pile of wood (Probably a previous building) with some Elyos Npc guards. Kill them and move as close as possible to the burning pile of wood. Relog to update the quest.
You may not be able to hit the correct spot on first try, just try again moving your character around the burning wood.

By following this small steps you should be able to update your quest and therefore complete it.
