4.0 Update woes

So I've been seeing many users having problems regarding the 4.0 update in the forums.

I didn't update mine yet at all, but It kinda makes me don't want to update my Client for jumbled mess, and yet to see any solid solutions here.

Any known answers for this 4.0 update?

 

just follow ncsoft instructions...not that hard if u can read english^^ the only problem is that u need t change manual the location of game....kinda stupid ncsoft on this point...just go on youtube and search HOW TO INSTALL AION 4.0 ON OTHER LOCATION or so ...bcs i guess u will update your 3.7 ....and u will find some tutorials. gl

Lol we wont be able to give you solutions unless you tell us your problem, so yea you have to update first.

 

I know how to do that, question is, is there any necessary files to "copy" into the newer location?

This is proven as I change path location with the old NCsoft Launcher, it needs AION.bin and locale Folder.

I did what I do above, and right now my NCsoft Game Launcher is at 37%, wondering if I did the right thing.

And lastly, does the NCsoft Game Launcher have a "Pause" while downloading?

 

Bump. My update failed for closing it because someone else in my house wants to use internet as well.

It's extremely offensive and disappointing that the NCsoft Game Launcher doesn't have any "Pause" function.

Either push "Cancel" or the "x" button doesn't pause it. Now I can't possibly playing GamezAion 4.0 anytime soon.

Unless someone put up a single "Torrent" file of it, that would work wonders.

 

NC Launcher looks like torrent...u can continue if your connection down...the problem is new nc launcher can't browse the older folder...so it looks like download full client from beginning -___-

 

my gamez aion crashes when i try log i did the update for win8 but still it wont work
